Chocolate cake shake worth the drive from KCMo!!! Wanted triple D's paradise pup, closed on Sunday that's ok Portillos delivered!
The food was delicious and the employees were very nice. The decor along with the pictures and music gave it a going back in time feeling .. I loved it! Would definitely recommend people eat here!
What a wonderful find! I experienced a twinge of nostalgia as I passed through the revolving door, seeing this restaurant all decked out in memorabilia. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the employees were cheerful and fun to interact with! One of them shared a little about the history of the place with us while we were waiting for our food, which came swiftly by the way. This is definitely a place to revisit if I'm ever back this way again.
Always great service and great food. I have been coming to this location for years. I don't remember a time where they got my order wrong. The staff is always friendly and I'm always happy after having dealt with them.

Employees were extremely friendly and helpful.
Villa Park location is a must visit place and their chocolate cake shake is a must.

Got here at 3 PM ON WEDNESDAY. it was cool and nice. My order took a minute and I got to sit at any table because the place was empty. Very cool decoration. I love Portillos
Ok, it’s still fast food, but a local sent me here to get a “beef sweet hot dipped” and a hot dog with everything, and being a “noob” to Chicago I took him at his word. The verdict? The Beef with sweet peepers and hot peppers dipped in au jus was… spectacular. The hot dog with “everything” was great too, but… everything apparently doesn’t include catsup, mayonnaise, relish, or sauerkraut… ok, I’m not from Chicago, BUT I would think that “everything” should include at least 2 out of the 4 previously aforementioned items… so… go for the beef steak or if you order a hotdog with “everything” make sure you define “everything” for them… LOL
I've been to a lot of Portillo's restaurants all over the Chicagoland area and for some reason the original still is the best one to me I've never had a bad order from them! Waiting in line at the drive-thru I seen a little tiny sign on the ground new strawberry lemon cake shake. I'll tell you this if I would have seen this on a big billboard I would have drove for Miles just to try it but needless to say I did try and hands down it is a Twist on a really good thing best thing I've ever tasted!!
It was good. Service was good. Food was good and hot. It's gotten pricey, but what hasn't?
Love me my Portillos hot dogs and fries. You know what you are getting and they do it exactly right every time . Nothing beats a chicago dog and fries.
Food was fantastic as always! Italian Beef best around anywhere! Friend ordered the plant based hot dog & loved it. However ordered slices of cake to go to eat home home later, and the lemon cake was literally half of the normal slice. What was that about?
I’ve been here a few times on the way home from work and the employees are always quick and friendly and the food has been fresh every time!
