Tried this small oriental joint out last week. Food was slightly above average. Service was great and waiter was friendly. First dish we tried was the orange chicken. Chicken had a thick layer of spicy sweet sauce and the chicken was still nice and crispy underneath. The hot and sour soup was phenomenal. Vegetables in the soup still had texture to them with every bite. Little bit of sour and little bit of spicy.

This is one of the most authentic places I have been for Chinese food. The service is excellent and the place looks fabulous with their ornate Chinese interiors. The food is amazing and allergies are first addressed by the staff even before we say it.

Great ambiance, friendly service. Came in at 8pm on a Sunday night, they close at 9pm and were made to feel welcome. Beautiful ornate decorations throughout the restaurant, even the ceiling and everything is very clean! Hard to keep dust off so much decoration but they do, it was spotless. Chairs with carved wooden backs, very comfortable. Owner came by to ask us about our food and was very pleasant. Waiter was personable and suggested menu items. The Mongolian beef was great with very fresh vegetable ingredients. My father had the Happy Family dish but the scallops were tiny with an odd texture. Shrimp were large and cooked perfectly which was nice. Large selection of loose teas (white, green and pu erh types) served in glass teapots so you could admire the tea color. Wide selection of Mandarin style dishes to choose from, Dim sum is on the menu, may come back for that! There is also a bar.

Just moved into the area and this is our new favorite Chinese/Korean restaurant.. We didn't have just great food but the service was absolutely awesome.. The owner josh came to talk and check on us also to get feed back about our food and experience. They had blooming tea which is my favorite and I have never seen at a Chinese restaurant before. Also descovered my new favorite dessert moshi. The black pepper chicken was to die for and the egg rolls were so crispy and so fresh. We are just going to live in the parking lot so we can eat there 247... You won't regret going there!!

Tae Fu is a hidden gem in the western suburbs of Chicago. Their food is quite delicious and their menu has excellent variety. If you happen to visit the ornately decorated restaurant, treat yourself to one of their over-the-top cocktails.

We order take out from there often. Love their dry chili chicken. Their food is always of good quality and tastes good even after rehearing the next day, usually Chinese take out always tastes bad the next day. For the first time today we noticed a hole in the box, looks like it might have melted. Hopefully it was just a defective box and someone didn’t pay attention.

Chicken general was fresh and fried rice was too. I enjoyed the crunch in the chicken because they deep fry it then put sauce on top. Delicious. Hospitality a1. I would recommend them getting fountain soda pop for those whom dine in. But can will do for now.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in the area. Decor felt authentic. Music was relaxing and very well matched to environment. Atmosphere was inviting. It is a quaint little restaurant with a family, at-home feel. Friendly people. VERY good food. FRESH vegetables, REAL chicken, and real egg rolls that were perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. What a pleasant surprise! It was a refreshing experience. I will continue to give them my business as long as my future experiences continue like this. Thank you Tae Fue, for creating authentic, fresh, homemade food.
