We had a great time at Beach Road: the view is spectacular, the service is attentive, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is good. We got the rather filling focaccia and the top-notch tempuras which was served piping hot, fresh, and light. A delight. For the main course, I got the bouillabaisse, which has light - but tasty - broth and some mussels, lobster, a langoustine, and some clams. I wish there were fish, as the marseillais serve it, and fewer mussels (nice but not upscale). The soup came with a tasty toasted bread creatively spread with rouille. The rouille itself lacked some zinger but I did enjoy the dish which brought back some memories from home. My date got the pasta and lobster. Although the lobster and pasta were reportedly very tasty, the sauce was super garlicky which forced her to get some maalox later on. It was also a particularly generous pasta serving, we could not finish it. After that, there was no room for desert. Next time. For drinks, I thoroughly enjoyed a grapefruit thief and a decent rosé provençal. My date got the aligoté which was fine. Some prices are absurd, such as $52 for a bottle of 2021 Muscadet, a well known bad year for a wine which is known as being cheap and cheerful. Anyhow, we got a great time and we’ll definitely be back.

Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday! It was a lovely restaurant with a great view of a gorgeous Martha’s Vineyard sunset over the water.

The best! Celebrated my birthday here. Got a late dinner reservation and had cocktails and a bunch of appetizers with my sis and cousin. Crab rolls to due for! Charred cabbage a must. Lamb meatballs yummy! Street corn, house fries, shrimp! On the nearby table someone ordered the bouillabaisse which looked spectacular. Will have the next time I'm there for sure. A must visit in MV.

We take the whole family every year before Thanksgiving. Wonderful menu, service like family and great building. Always a hit.

One of the best places to eat on the Island. We split the crab appetizer, halibut, and garganelli. Everything was delicious and the pasta was one of the best I’ve ever had. The sangria was also gingery, unique, and refreshing. Great staff, too.

Good dinner spot in Vineyard Haven with some creative dishes. I would highly recommend the focaccia, lamb meat balls (they have a little spicy kick), and Brussel sprouts (similar to a momofuku preparation). The charred cabbage was alright but seems like an after thought to the delicious broth it is served in. Squash soup was more of a curry soup and needed some serious salt added. Front of house staff were lacking. Beautiful setting with great views across lagoon pond.

Great food with a good variety...a little limited for shellfish allergies... Save room for dessert... Service can be a little slow, but why hurry from such a great spot.

By far the best place to eat on the island. Everything we ordered was unbelievably delicious, especially the fresh corn bread. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Highly recommend. We have seen the Obamas here many times!

Great spot. Service is super and cocktails are delightful. Food is solid. Last visit fries were cold and steak was almost to salty to eat. Everyone has an off night. Previous visits had no such issues.

The food here was so amazing, not a single one of us stopped to take a picture. From the corn bread (read: whole mini loaf) to the gnocchi, my meal was perfectly done and so full of flavor. My friends had the toast and halibut dishes, and the rest of the night we couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was absolutely wonderful for the whole visit!

We were lucky to have dinner last night (11/13/21) at the Beach House. Everything was perfect!!! We shared the Shrimp & Haricot Verts Tempura. It was delicious. Our entrées were Lobster Linguine & Prime Hangar Steak. The ingredients in both were unique! They were perfectly seasoned & amazing. Portions were very generous. We took home a Butterscotch Pudding - a must try dessert. We will definitely get back to Beach Road the next time we go to MV. Soon I hope!

Roasted cabbage is something to write home about. Bouillabaisse was also pretty great. State Road has always been a family favorite; happy to see the consistency at Beach Road. Would recommend to friends and family.

Great food and service! $1 oyster at 5pm was a bargain. Clam chowder was one of the best I had: smokey and flavorful. Small plates like the octopus and fried chicken were well seasoned and light. Will come again!
