This is one of our very favorite places to eat when we are on the Vineyard. They always have several delicious vegan options on their menu. On our most recent visit, I had the mushroom meatloaf, and my husband had the coconut tofu, and both were just fabulous. We look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.
Visited in the morning on a Sunday in late August. Busy little shop, good amount of parking and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Nice range of baked goods, sandwiches/burgers, pretty tasty coffee. Had a good visit here and would happily return again at some point in the future.
The breakfast Sammy is the best and the prices are good! 2 eggs on the egg sandwich with a good amount of bacon! It's a must stop when we are on the island. Every bakery item I have ever had has been delicious!
The everything egg sandwich is awesome. Many times here. Lastime it was awesome but the outside of the bottom half of my english muffin was still almost as cold as if it came out of the fridge. But once in a while stuff happens. I love love this place. You will too.
The melt in your mouth gluten free brownies and the shortbread pie crusts and cookies make this bakery a regular stop during the week. Prepared breakfast and lunch served here too.
Stopped here on Father’s Day to get the father some TREATS.
Pictured below is a shmourgousborg of Blueberry cheesecake, Cookies and creme cupcake, Chocolate cheesecake, and pecan pie (maybe)
All were amazing, I found this place by biking by it and getting home to open my phone up and figure out what smelled so good when I biked by.
Immediatly went and obtained the treats….gifted the treats…..ate the treatsssss.
Will be back for more treats, will reccomend to a friend. Keep the good smells coming.
Went there on our last day on MV as ArtCliff was closed. Happy we did try their breakfast egg sandwich and burrito. So good! Also took garlic-spinach bread, almond croissant and apple turnover home. Still enjoying this goodness. Bread is so so good!
We visited this great bakery and was not disappointed. I would highly recommend their lemon bars with a shortbread base along with lemon cookies and their chocolate chip cookies. It was the best baked goods we had on Martha’s Vineyard.
We love Scottish bakeh
The coffee is great the muffins and other treats are great
Also the vibe is right
Oh my! Their mains are divine!!! The turkey burger with pineapple salsa is our of this world. It's pricey, but so worth it!
Scottish Bakehouse, where have been all my life. Been going to the Vineyard all 47 years of my life and we never crossed paths. That changed this year and I am so happy. FRESH ingredients, grown in the garden in back, great original selections of muffins, cookies, pastries, bread, sandwiches, you name it. KILLER breakfast sandwich.
Breakfast sandwich hit the spot. Breakfast burrito was just as good. Not pictured because I ate it so quickly.
Consistently good bakery and take out food. One of the best breakfast sandwiches on the island. Good lunch plates and sandwiches too. Most baked goods are excellent...especially the shortbread bars (the shortbread "cake/disk" were better in the day, but that was about 20 years ago.
Best brunch in the area. Environment is really nice and peaceful for seating outside (when you can of course). Food is really good quality for the price. Fair amount of options to choose from, with the menu changing season to season. Biggest con is the wait time, but the food is definitely worth the wait 😋 Even then, you can just order online ahead of time
This was among the best and highest quality food we had in Martha’s Vineyard. It was a long wait for food/lunch fare, but at a busy time and the food was well worth the wait. The meats were exceptional! I wish staff were wearing masks during this surge of infections, but as it was a carry out window, that is probably relatively safe.
