Went here to celebrate a birthday and it was an amazing experience. We sat in the garden because it was summer like weather in the fall and then there was wedding band music playing and lights shining from the garden. It was magical outside. The service was professional, prompt and attentive. Now for the best part the food! I had the catch of the day fish and it was so delicious. Not heavy or too light and loved the mushrooms for texture with couscous. The popover was a bit heavy for me but I was hungry so I’ll give them a pass. The short rib was pretty good too. Overall I would come back and recommend this place but sit in a different spot in the garden.

It was typical Saturday evening, no holiday. Our waiter JD was the best, knowledgeable about the meals and menu, patience, and never let my wine glass empty. The host, can’t remember his name, very friendly and helpful. We have Salmon/medium shared, Short rib/super tender; garlic parm fries is fresh and seasoned, must try dessert sampler, and apple crisp. The place is historical and seasonal/ Christmas everywhere. Overall visit was satisfying and definitely coming back for more.

Sailed in saturday night, major rain storm outside. we arrived for and early reservation. this was our first visit here, we have heard many great things....lets get started: Valet parking which is sent to your cell when you are ready to leave.....Nice
Wine: Found only two in our price range.
we tried two appetizers: she crab soup, served by two, our server and someone from kitchen, server adds crabmeat to the bowl, next the kitchen fellow adds the actual soup mix.....outstanding presentation...my option, next oysters 5....Wood fired grilled they were called..........Wait just before the two apps, we both get a popover, very large and by far one of the best i have ever encountered in tidewater area.
Dinner: Chris tried the short rib, with whipped potatoes and broc. - me....bone in chicken and beans.
dessert....we barely saves room: chris loves creme brulee.....Spiced Ginger Pear, i went for the Apple Toffee Cake with vanilla bourbon ice creme....i made a mistake.
great coffee and a compelmentary chocolate something and two glasses of champagne.
Atmosphere.....what could be any better than the Va Beach Landmark Hotel: The Cavalier.
lets talk a bit about our server: Anastasis. one could not ask for a finer server. she knew everything about all the items and the specials that were not listed on the menu......pretty darn good, i was impressed.

We had a wonderful experience at the bar. We were dressed in casual clothes and I was hesitant to come inside but they were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We did a tasting for Tarnished Truth distilling onsite because they didn't have any openings for a few hours and it was fabulous. The bar tender was very knowledge and friendly and we would absolutely return.
Our waitress was amazing! Very knowledgeable and didn’t have to ask for anything that was extra. Example:// I sat outside and she noticed the flys that swarm towards all the beautiful flowers outside the garden and she automatically brought out a fly machine to keep them away. So pretty! Great prices and service!

We got the octopus which is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. It didn’t taste at all like seafood and was not chewy in the slightest bit. Would get it again and again.
The filet was cooked well but the sides that come with it were minimal at best. That was kind of disappointing. I think I received 2-3 very small pieces of broccolini and 2 pieces of potatoes.
The red drum fish special was delicious and flaky.

Service was good. Definitely higher end in price for drinks. My daughter had brunch w 14 friends for her 16th birthday, they were able to accommodate as I reserved a few weeks ahead. They enjoyed the photo ops and experience overall. We tried the deviled eggs and were pleasantly surprised!
What an amazing lunch date experience with my sister. The food was prepared to perfection. The service and ambience were wonderful. Our waitress Michelle was very accommodating and attentive.
We were debating on going here or to Orion's Roof. We are so happy we picked Becca's. Everything was top notch, from the caesar salad to the crab cakes and lamb chops. Anastasia, our server was great also and having Tyler, the Manager stop by to check on us was a bonus.
Came here for a work trip and was super impressed! Very upscale restaurant and atmosphere. A lot of our group ordered the filet, and it did not disappoint! Between the 8 of us in the group, we spent about $1200 on dinner, drinks, and dessert. I will definitely be coming here again!
One of the most beautiful places. It’s a great place to go for a drink. My friends were not very happy about the food and service. I hope they will improve on that🙏
Wow!! ❤️ We had an amazing experience here! The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered duck rolls and octopus for an appetizer, I was just shocked how perfectly the taste was thought through by the chef 🍽️ For entree: fresh catch (rock fish) and short ribs - such a rich taste! The servers was super professional, attentive, manager gave us complimentary champagne to make up for the wait, and came by to check up on us after, it was very sweet! ❤️ thank you Becca for our quality time - we will definitely be coming back!!
Brunch, Glorious Bunch. What an excellent experience.
Luckily, our spontaneous decision to come only caused a slight delay in seating. Reservations are a better plan.
We strolled the piano lounge area and enjoyed the tongue in cheek artwork, many a clever modern play on historic works.
Seated in the Sunroom we enjoyed a relaxed bunch. We never felt rushed, but were well attended. The wine spritzer cocktails were a delight, not the typical too sweet pedestrian fare, but well crafted flavor blends.
The house made pastry basket is superb and generous: 3 full sized items served warm. Pure delight.
The deviled eggs are smooth and flavorful, not overpowered by strong flavors like horseradish. Again, well crafted flavors with bright red caviar and a crisp potato chip.
The ground here are lovely, the porch gorgeous. Allow yourself some extra time to wander indoors and out.
