Great food and vibe. Terry was amazing and helped us order dishes and also the quantity. Amazing crab nachos and crab soup sherry. Loved also the sage trout fish so delicate and crisp. Unique key lime pie. Yummy. Highly recommended.
Such a cute, little restaurant with great ambiance! We are all so glad we tried it! The tuna steak was amazing as was the stuffed flounder in a bag. Prices were really good for fresh fish. And our server was one of the best we’ve ever had. Definitely give this place a try.
I was in town 2 weeks ago and met a friend for dinner here. I was BLOWN AWAY. Tautog's has been around a long time, and even though I lived in VB for most of my life, I had never dined here before. What a mistake! We were seated near the front of the restaurant on the covered porch, and Sarah was our waitress (who was great btw!). We started with a tuna app and a scallops app. For entrees, my friend ordered the blackened tuna and I got the scallops barca, both with rice pilaf. We really enjoyed the combination of flavors, both entrees were unique and tasted phenomenal. I would definitely return to try some more dishes and I highly recommend to both locals and visitors alike!
We had dinner at Tautags on our recent stay to VA Beach. We have dined here before and we really enjoy their food. I had the shrimp and grits, which was great. My hubby had the dinner special of wahoo with mashed potatoes and veggie. For dessert we had the bread pudding with whiskey sauce. Delicious! We will return on our next visit for sure.

First time here, everything was perfect and the service was beyond amazing! The restaurant ran like a well oiled machine. Will definitely be back again when we visit VA Beach.

Firstly, best crab bisque I've ever had. Their shrimp and grits were fantastic as well. Prices were very reasonable, which was surprising for VA Beach. Server was polite and homey, everything was beyond expectations.

The food is delicious. We had the raw oysters and clams for appetizers. The tilapia au gratin, shrimp with grits and crab cake sandwich. The service is great, and what I loved the most was the atmosphere. It's definitely a great place for a date.
I've been coming to VB for several years and don't know how I missed this place. Our food was delicious and the setting, a historic house, was very quaint. Definitely coming back.
We love this little local gem! It’s a slice of heaven with amazing seafood. This is perfect for a date night or hanging out with friends! The Sunday afternoon drink specials were great and our appetizer, entrees and dessert were beyond amazing! We highly recommend this dinner spot!
