Sunnyside Cafe & Restaurant - Virginia Beach - Photo album

Phenomenal food and service. Had the Norwegian Eggs Benedict and a strawberry banana waffle, it was incredible. Our waitress was not only super sweet but attentive, going out of her way to give me a water after I finished my hot chocolate without me even asking and checking on us regularly. I absolu
Seated quickly. Staff were friendly. Our waitress, Sasha, was great and checked on us frequently. They allowed us to substitute a menu item for something else, which was really nice. Large portion sizes for food. Everything cooked to perfection! Glad we picked such a great place for breakfast!
Came here today off the beach to grab us a snack. I had heard good things so we got a fruit platter. Fruit was fresh and delicious ! They had a lot to offer on the menu & they seemed busy. We will definitely return one day for brunch when we want something heavier. Man was great who assisted me.
We wanted breakfast at another spot on Atlantic Street and they told us it would be a 45-minute wait. I called Sunnyside, and they got us a table right away. What a pleasant surprise! Dominique was so nice and pleasant and made our morning before returning home from our vacation. Well be back! Oh a
We ate breakfast here the 2 days we were at Virginia Beach; both days, the food was excellent ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ ๐Ÿ˜‹. Service was very good.
Everyone here was very friendly, and the food was top notch! Got the original waffle with fruit and a side of bacon and hash browns and it was very tasty! Perfect way to start the morning.
Some of the best Eggs Benedict I've gotten it a long time. Wonderful staff and service which didn't make me feel rushed. The Italian Morning drink is completely refreshing with just the right amount of cranberry juice. Even the potatoes were cooked properly with zero dryness. I should've returned fo
Sometimes the best places to eat are unassuming. On the surface it looks like just another place to eat breakfast. However, they have a great breakfast. There are some odd thing as they charge you for plastic ware and whip cream. The staff was wonderful. There will not be a long wait on your fo
We have never stayed on the southern end of the strip for our family vacations. This year we did and needed to find a place that served breakfast and could accommodate a gluten free diner. Sunnyside was able to do such. The restaurant was clean, service was good as was the food.
Waitress was amazing and friendly. The food was great and she even gave us directions and traffic tips. Would recommend!
First time here and met a family outside who said they always come here for the good prices and big portion sizes. Seemed pretty accurate but they keep raising their prices like once a month looks like. Everything has gone up $1 in the last 30 days and another $1 it had already went up 2 months ago
Good was decent but service was good. Sunnyside was recommended by a local but canโ€™t say I wonโ€™t try somewhere else the next time. My poached eggs on my crab eggs Benedict were overdone (not runny). The coffee was a bit weak as well.
This was my first visit to Sunnyside, I read reviews before choosing this breakfast/brunch spot to eat. Service was great and the wait time was not long at all. The appearance of the restaurant is clean and organized. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I recommend the pancakes, they are delicious
I came here two years and the food was amazing so we decided to come back. Unless you had a large party, we were sat immediately on a Sunday morning! Sophia was our waitress. She was so helpful and an absolute delight. She recommended the home made corn beef hash and it was amazing!!! You have to at
Showed up as an early-bird on saturday morning. I would like to compliment everyone on staff. Very freindly. I ordered the friednchicken and waffle and a tall cup of OJ. The best chicken and waffle I have ever had. Chicken was fried perfectly. The waffle was fluffy and a sweet treat to eat.
Breakfast was good. Bacon was cooked exactly how I asked for it. I didn't really like my fried potatoes mixed in with my eggs, but it was OK. Service was good. Place was clean. Breakfast for 2 plus $10 tip came 2 $65. A LITTLE PRICEY!!
A great breakfast and lunch destination. Located just a block from the ocean. It is very easy to walk to from any of the hotels on the south end of the beach. There no parking for the restaurant. There is only pay parking located in the back, so it is better to walk there if possible. The menus is l
Great food at affordable prices! There is no free parking, pay via app parking behind the restaurant. They also don't split checks. I loved the sampler because I can never decide between pancakes and waffle and with the sampler I could have both! Everything that we had was delicious and so filling!
We loved this little establishment. Spirits were so yummy and the staff was great. Parking sucks but in the warm months who really cares about walking. Our waitress did let us park in the back but she said that's usually full. Just be prepared to park on the street and walk.
