Great service! Waitress was very friendly & attentive. Awesome food! Meal was hot and delicious. Fruit was fresh. Caramel pecan cinnamon roll is to die for. Definitely recommend to everyone on the Southside of Hampton Roads & even those across the bridge it's worth the drive.

My Son and family are stationed in Virginia Beach and they introduced me to Allies as it is their favorite place to eat and hang!! I love the food, the portions and the atmosphere and the young lady servers are prompt, cordial and beautiful and all about the customers and prices are right! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!

Wanted to try a new place for brunch, so we went to Brunch House and stood there for 5 minutes. Looked to be one waitress, who was also the hostess, working and about 15 people waiting to order. We left and went across the street to Anchor Allie's. We were immediately greeted, seated and served. The food, the service and atmosphere were great. I'll be back. Great find! 5 stars

Loved the atmosphere, service was exceptional and the food was excellent. We did have 1 small issue with one of our orders, but the situation was rectified directly and with many apologies. This is my kind of place!

This is such a great place! The food is delicious and everything is well-priced. The atmosphere is very upbeat and relaxed. The service is amazing. Even the kitchen staff that occasionally come out to check on things are the nicest people! Best thing about it is its veteran owned. My friends and I go there for brunch just about every weekend.

So excited to finally live here and be able to spend some time on the patio at Shore Drive. Service, beautiful, friendly, and fast as always. Food, shrimp tacos and a maple bacon cinnamon roll, I mean really what else is needed? Thank you for such an awesome place!!

I love this place so much. Great food and very nice people. I love there tacos and breakfast. My suggestion the frogman burrito to die for. Also, in the love with the theme and it is perfect for our city. Everytime I get the change I go.

Fast friendly service, great food and cold beer. Clean, well laid out dinning area, outside patio and the staff is much more than just pretty faces! I'm a big fan of locally owned businesses and veteran owned businesses, this one is both. I know I'll be going back soon!

Lots of options, nicely decorated and very friendly staff. Not much to say cuz we went for a light lunch. The small strip “mall” doesn’t give it the best light so walking in I wasn’t sure but walking out I was happy.

Nice place with a simple menu. The owner was there and hospitable. Her story is interesting. The food came out hot with good quality. Nice portions for a simple diner. It’s a solid place to try

We had a work Christmas party here and we’re not disappointed. The food came out quickly, accurately, and was fantastic! Our server was top-notch. We will definitely be back at the Shore Drive location as often as we can.

The food here was pretty good. My family only tried the breakfast menu items. All of our items were good except for the pancakes. Very doughy. Must Try: Cinnamon Roll with bacon, VERY good! The only complaint is the time it took to get our food. We waited over 25 min at our table before our food came. I have never experienced breakfast taking that long to cook and we ordered nothing complicated.

This was my first visit and I was picking up a takeout lunch. The interior was clean and inviting. There's not a lot of seating and the place is popular so you might have to wait for a table. The food was good with standard size portions. The only negative thing I had to say was that my sandwich had two tiny little pieces of lettuce about the size of a half dollar which didn't even cover the sandwich. You couldn't even tell it was there with the sandwich assembled. Maybe there's a lettuce shortage? I will definitely give it another try.

I went to Anchor Allie’s for breakfast, Absolutely delicious, Having the Eggs Benedict, with crab cake, grits, cafe con panna, and a water. The wait was a little long but worth it! So the next time you eat breakfast, Choose Anchor Allies!

Great food, great staff, fantastic atmosphere. This is a fun little cafe and diner you probably didn't know was here. Will definitely come back to try some of their other menu options, but not much can beat a 6-egg burrito, coffee, and mimosas!

Fast friendly service! Outstanding meal. Had a mto omelet with perfectly seasoned Homefries and a scratch biscuit. Coffee was smooth and hot. Reasonably priced too. The very personable owner, Allie, stopped by to say hi. No wait either!

Went during pandemic & ate in the bubble & I've been back to both locations since then & I haven't been disappointed. Do them a favor & bring cash to pay, it is their preference. Food is fresh & delicious whether it is a breakfast selection (waffles, pancakes, eggs) or lunch/dinner selection (monte Cristo is really tasty). Staff is pleasant, locals frequently return, & the atmosphere is cool.

A great breakfast stop, hidden away off of the highway. I stopped for breakfast and had the best salmon benedict ever!! All of the food looks great. Bonus...they have a full bar! Highly recommend, I'll definitely be back!

We were there on a Sunday morning before it got really busy. Service was good and attentive, great teamwork. Menu has anything you want and you can customize if you like. Food was delicious and everything was clean.

Anchor allie's is a nice place for brunch. They have a wide selection of standard breakfast meals, but where they truly shine is their drinks. I had the pleasure to try their pumpkin spice expresso martini, by Rhue, and it was to die for. My Bangor bowl was good, and the martini was delectable. My waitress Rhue was so funny and courteous that I will be making Anchor Allie a family staple to come here for brunch and also for that pumpkin spice expresso martini.
