Always welcoming and fantastic quality. I think they have the best rice in town. Very important for the sushi lovers out there. The sushi lunch is always solid comes with a starter of miso soup. Perfect portion and a solid price. Great wasabi as well.

It's pretty hard to find somewhere to match the authentic Japanese food taste anywhere and I finally found a place here in Hampton Roads where I can enjoy Japanese food again. The workers are mostly Japanese. The yakisoba reminds me of the street yakisobas being sold while walking around the streets
Kyushu Japanese was amazing! We were very happy to have found authentic Japanese food in Virginia Beach. I order pork katsu and my wife ordered tempura udon. The coating around the fried pork was crunchy and the pork inside was juicy!

The sushi is always great. Been eating there for over 30 years and even after Ebi-san sold the restaurant it is still consistently good.
