Yesterday was my first time- and I loved it! I ordered the chicken kebab with a side of eggplant and afghan salad...yummy! Everything was loaded with flavor. The staff was very friendly, always checked up on us. The price was good and the portions are very filling. If you haven't tried this place, you've got to try it out! Best kept secret in Virginia Beach.

Super amazing food! Husband had lamb gyro and I had chicken Kabab platter with rice, spinach and eggplant! Amazing is an understatement!
My husband and I went the Mazari Kebab last night - It was amazing! The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. The kebab and gyro meat is prepared to order. The veges, sides, and rice are fresh. The service is cafeteria style with paper products - it works well with this type of food. They serve homemade desserts, beer, and wine. The price is perfect - and the servings are plentiful. We loved it!!
Food was delicious! We went in for dinner as a party of 9 which stressed the kitchen staff however they came through like Champs. As a fairly new restaurant they do not yet have wait staff so you go up place your order and pay at the counter. I look forward to maybe being offered an expanded dinner service to go with the delicious food. We will be visiting again and happily recommending Mazari to others.
Amazing food... I recommend to everyone! Unique blend of spices and awesome selection of sides. I cannot say enough about Mazari's, you really have to check it out for yourselves, you won't be disappointed!!
Fantastic food! Everything is always cooked fresh w large portions. This is my second time eating here. The customer service is wonderful, the main chef explains what every dish is and how it's made/seasoned. This local spot needs to get recognition! I will be spreading the word to all my family and friends! Thank you! We will be returning soon!
I feel pretty lucky to live down the street from this place so I can stop by once a week or so.
Everything I've had from here is insane. Just the right amount of spices. Make sure to bring a friend because the portion sizes are definitely too much for one person.

I just grabbed some take-out tonight based on a recommendation from someone I know that the food is delicious. And they were right!! I ordered the veggie kabob with brown rice and side of eggplant and a side spinach. Full of flavor using herbs and fresh house made chutney. I am looking forward to having what’s left over for lunch tomorrow.
Went for lunch with my mom today. We both ordered gyros and chips. The gyros were as good as I had hoped, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chips were made in house at the time of order. I'm a chip fiend, so this made my day. The staff was very friendly and the owner came around to chat briefly with every patron. I got a kick out of the customer in front of me asking the proper pronunciation for "gyro." They told her the way people pronounce it depends on a lot of factors so go ahead and say it however you feel comfortable. I definitely recommend this spot and hope they do well.

Very good food. The lamb kebab with the authentic Afghan rice is superb. Nicely seasoned. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants.

Friendly staff took the time to explain all of the menu options. The food was delicious and presented beautifully!
There is a clear view of the kitchen from the tables in the front. We enjoyed watching our food be made. It is a quiet and clean atmosphere. I got a vegetarian option. Other members of my group got gyros which were enormous.
The falafel platter was delicious!!! I love how they have vegetarian options, unlike some other Middle Eastern or Turkish restaurants. I will definitely be coming back.
We were surprised by this place with its authentic Turkish/Iranian Middle Eastern cuisine. There food was delicious and the hostess was helpful as we made our menu selections. Highly recommend.
My first time trying this restaurant and it is everything I was hoping for and more. The Kobida kebab platter with kabuli rice and eggplant and chickpeas was so flavorful and authentic. Grape leaves and falafel and hummus with pita. Baklava to finish for a sweet treat. Absolutely recommend. If I could give more than 5 stars, it’s definitely a 10+

I absolutely love this place and the food they serve!! I wanted to try out an authentic locally owned Mediterranean restaurant and found this one on my way home. The staff there is extremely polite, friendly, and are always so vibrant!! Their positive attitude made this a more enjoyable experience. Now the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I always order the salmon shish kebab platter with the chick peas, brown rice, and steamed vegetables. I can't get enough of this food! I would buy this every day of the week if I could. The food was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend trying this place! I've been twice within a week already !

My wife, child, and I came here for dinner and spoke with one of the waiters as to what he suggested. He gave us a few good suggestions, but highly recommend the kobida kabob platter. I got the kobida kabob platter with brown rice, all sauces, eggplant and salad. My wife got the gyro platter with eggplant and chickpeas. These meals were absolutely amazing and delicious to say the least. The kobida kabob was so flavorful and tender, and the sauces just worked perfectly. The gyro meat tasted fresh and was very flavorful. Portions were excellent. All of the sides were very tasty too.
We were also very happy to see how awesome the staff were. They weren't just nice people, they were genuinely cool people who all seemed to enjoy doing what they do. You can genuinely feel the heart and soul of this place when dining in. Both the food and service were so good, that my wife and I came back again the next day for lunch. My wife ordered the kobida platter, and I ordered the chicken kabob a la carte with brown rice. Chicken was absolutely fantastic, tender and flavorful, and kobida was still on point. Also got hummus and Turkish coffee, and both were very good as well. Overall, next time we're in Norfolk, we'll definitely stop by here again.

You definitely have to eat here this is the best middle eastern food in the entire Hampton Roads Area I highly highly recommend this restaurant !! Service is the best in any restaurant I’ve been to, and the food is homemade and fresh!! I got the lamb & beef gyro platter with spinach and also eggplant (sorry no picture it was so good I couldn’t wait). The lamb and beef are so tender it melts in your mouth without chewing almost. Their naan bread is fresh and tender, and their rice both brown and white are flavored well. They give you large portions of food. I have a good appetite, but I could only eat half. This is my first time, and now this is my favorite restaurant I will definitely go back. If you don’t at least try this restaurant you will definitely hate yourselves. 🤩🤩🤩

Great Food, good service. My husband loves their beef and lamb gyro. I get the Chicken kabob with veggies and potatoes. I add a piece of Ribeye steak as week. (All pictures below) I get the sauces on the side for mine. Everything is great!! Definitely recommend.
This might be one of the best meals I have had in the Hampton Roads area. Between two platters I got to sample just about everything on the menu and would not hesitate to go back. Would definitely go back and eat it all again. Everyone was very friendly as well.
We've been ordering from Mazaris for 2+ years and are never disappointed. Each dish is exceptional, and when they have them, the lamb chops are delectable! We keep coming back for more!
