Surf Rider Restaurant - Virginia Beach - Photo album

We had a party of (14). Devon did a wonderful job…didn’t skip a beat. The famous Run Runner was delicious, oysters were surprisingly small, the crab cakes were expensive but didn’t disappoint. Overall, the food was delicious but, kind of bland.
Marina Shores location Super cool place. Kinda a secret spot. A little hard to find so use your GPS. Serving sizes are huge (see my pics), great staff, on the water, bands, all the ingredients for a good time! Good vibes!
This is a Virginia Beach clasic, any visitor should plan to eat here. There are tons of fantastic, seafood options, and they are famous for their she crab soup and crab cakes. The crabcakes have tons of crab and not too much filler. There are many fresh fish options, the restaurant is very kid frien
My recent visit to the seafood restaurant was an absolute delight. The ocean-fresh offerings on the menu were a testament to the quality and dedication of the establishment. Each dish I sampled was a celebration of the sea's bounty and a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs. The restaur
We visited by boat. Plenty of slips and easy access. The food was delicious. We had steamed shrimp, crab cakes and broccoli. The rum runner is one of the best drinks I've ever had. Little sweet but very good.
Lunch for our sister's 71st Birthday. We had a ball! Water view was a plus. Food was good in every aspect. Our server Cassie couldn't have been more accommodating and we hope to have her again next time.
Food was good, drinks were decent, and service was fine. But don't go on a hot day because it is an open-air restaurant. A bit cooler inside due to a huge fan, but it doesn't keep the flies away. Think it would be a better experience after the sun goes down.
Went to Surf Riders for an early dinner, compliments of my daughter in law. The atmosphere, the service, and the view were outstanding. The food was well proportioned for the price. And, the food tasted absolutely delicious.
This is my favorite surf-rider restaurant. I used to keep my boat at Marina Shores and it was lovely to come here and eat after a day on the water. I think surf-rider may have the best crab cakes in Hampton Roads. This location is especially unique because it's open to the outside so you can dine al
Great seafood selection and you've got to try a Rum Runner! They get busy but the wait generally isn't too long. Just wish they'd stay open in the winter.
Best crabcakes around! I love the sides that are offered. Wish they stayed open all year long!
Arrive to find a waiting list. But seeing how packed the place was, help us decide to stay. Very clean, all age groups, and the food and our waitress (Tiffany) were both outstanding. Yes we will be back.
Everything is always awesome. I had the bay burger today and it was perfect. Cassie is a great server. Knew what was good and made great conversation as well.
Located on the water, with views of the Marina, this was a nice setting for wonderful dinner. Prices were decent considering the recent rate of inflation that has made other places too expensive for a family of four. Service and food quality were excellent and the portions forced us to take food ho
Really enjoyed this place. Lots of windows and a massive ceiling fan but it was very comfortable on a warm evening. Food was a bargain as were drinks (at least compared to northern VA pricing). I ordered the clam strip basket and the crabby bloody Mary. Will definitely go back on my next visit to VA
So glad Marina Shores Surf Rider is open for the season! The food has never disappointed. We enjoy being on the water and live close by, so close I could kayak there!
