Great good and fast service! I ordered the shrimp lo mein with buffalo wings and it was great! The wings were very flavorful and not too spicy! I was very surprised at how little this meal cost me. They definitely give generous portion sizes. I'll definitely order from here again. The staff is always polite when I call and go inside. Highly recommend!
I can’t believe I have never given King Gus’s a review before now! It’s got to be because I’m too busy enjoying my favorite foods basking in the pleasures of their excellent customer service, yummy everything, and how fast and easy it is to order. We have even tried other Chinese food take outs with friends in Virginia Beach and this is by far the best. Leagues above the others.
That was some of the best bourbon chicken and chicken pancit I’ve had in a long time this is my new go to Chinese place even though it’s about 15 mins drive from me it’s worth every minute of it.
Local Family owned & operated business! Very nice people too. Food is excellent and I have never had an issue in ten years of going to King Hua. Service is great hunan beef & hunan Shrimp is awesome too so are the egg rolls!
Good food. I ordered when I arrived and it was complete in less than 15 minutes. That's amazing. Looking forward to next dinner with this place.
Wonderful staff quick delivery and amazing food!! A few of my favourites are the lumpia and her soups are all delicious!! General Tso chicken is good and so is her egg Fu Yung!! Definitely my number one choice for Chinese in the area!!
I would have given them 5 stars but he charged me for 5 eggrolls when I told him 4. I dislike this tactic to make more $. However, I paid almost $16 for the food I ordered, why was that not enough? Just sayin'. Bourbon chicken bland, missing flavor. Wonton egg drop soup: I recommend dropping the wontons. Dumplings: winner! Delicious because the ginger hoison sauce was perfect foil to these steamed plain janes.
I've been to this restaurant 3 times; the shrimp chow mein is great (my only issue was the 1st order wasn't complete)! The 2nd time the taste was slightly different, but still good. But, the shrimp chop suey is EXCELLENT! I like the container, and the counter staff was super generous with the additional sauces! I plan on going there at least once a week!

I don't live in the same area close to this place anymore, however I made a special trip JUST to get food here on Christmas Eve 2023. This place will always have THE BEST CHINESE FOOD!! 💯

We have been going here for probably 25 years...food is usually pretty good. Tonight I ordered food for a birthday party...ordered chicken pansit...they sent shrimp, tasted very fishy..I don't even like shrimp...they wanted me to bring back bc and switch it, they don't deliver...I was at my daughters birthday party. They would not credit me, or let me get the pansit when I am able to...said even if it was 2 weeks from now, I had to bring their mistake back...very very unproffessional, she knew that it was their error...if you make a mistake with someones dinner, correct it immediatly, right? My family will not be patronizing this business anymore. Sad that you have to go through your order before you leave to make sure it is correct, especially when their prices have sky rocketed :(
Update- Owner "Josh" reached out to me and told me it was a 3rd party that I talked to about my order that night...He said come in anytime and get a new pansit order :) I thought that night was unusual because they are usually pretty good about things! Thank you Josh!
Honestly, I’ve never had Chinese food this good in Virginia Beach. This will be my go to Chinese restaurant. After coming here, I am so satisfied. I received the best service and the freshest food.
I just ate the absolute best Chinese food in all of my life. King Hua is always good but tonight the food tasted so fresh. Even the egg roll tasted like it was just made moments ago. It was less salty which was fantastic. Great job. Thank your for a great dinner!!
