We go to this location anytime we want Japanese steak house! We live in Norfolk but don't mind driving to this location because they are very friendly and very generous with their portions!

Great hibachi. I am addicted to the fried rice at this place! Their sushi is also very good.
The facility is very clean inside and the hibachi grills are kept spotless unlike the majority of steak houses in the area. The staff is always friendly and on point. As far as prices are concerned they are very inexpensive. All in all it us always a delightful experience. I will continue to bring my business here as should you.
Lovely dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed the service and food - add the fried rice for $1.50 and have the red bean ice cream - the ginger was also delicious. Although we arrived just as the restaurant opened and were the only customers, we were served promptly and enjoyed the cooking "show". When another small group arrived midway of our meal they were seated at another table. The vegetables were cooked just the way I like them and the steak was medium as requested. Our questions about sauces were cheerfully answered. Great value and we are planning a return with a larger famly group.
GREAT. We are a family of 5 with 3 young children. Each time we have come here they are very kid friendly! I have never been to a restaurant that brought out a baby spoon for any of my kids but they did! They are very nice people. I have had zero complaints about this place. Wonderful service, food and atmosphere.

Food coma... when I first got here the restaurant just opened. My GF and I were first in. Later 3 other groups came in. Staff was polite. Waitress could have been better, not bad to the point to remove a star. Amazing fried rice, rest of the food was great. Medium/high in flavor. GF said the shrimp was plain, good size though. Alcohol drinks were huge. Prices were relevant compared to my other Hibachi experiences. Been to ones in Washington state and north Carolina. Chef was good and kind. No errors in his performance. Though I have seen more tricks done from other chefs at different establishments. Still a good place for people new to the Hibachi experience.
Perfect Chef. Excellent food. If you don't like people around you then this is not the place for you. I for that matter had very bad experiences with the seating due to ignorant people. Long wait till the seats are semi full then the chef comes out and cook for you. Basically, be ready for a long wait. I wish this restaurant installbooths or an overhall. Good restaurant good food just too stuffy for me.
Wow, the sashimi just melted in my mouth. We loved our appetizers, hibachi grilled steak and shrimp. Everything was cooked to our liking. Our chef was entertaining and our waitress was on top of everything. We had a wonderful time and food was prime choice.
We went to Chiba as a group of 10, who all got married the same year. The food was very delicious. The only downside was trying to talk in the group and being heard. Really can't be helped due to the fans that need to run. I would go back.

Love it, eat here so many many times already, always good. since I found this hibachi Japanese restaurant, I don't go other Japanese steakhouse, love yum yum sauce here, and sushi is very fresh, price compare others is much cheaper. Thanks Chiba

Chiba is one the best Hibachi that I went. Fresh meat and vegetables, reasonable price, delicious food. I defiantly go again and again.
Sushi is the best in the area, always fresh and well prepared. A real treat for us, Kempsville friends we are lucky to have this fine restaurant!
