Love these location the friendly service is amazing fast food.
No knock on the atmosphere, I'm just not entertaining at a fish spot!! Now for the service Its the BEST You can expect. I miss the bell to ring for good service because the young gentleman Manager is a unique one of a kind!! He is allways spectacular going above and beyond on getting efficiency for your price, and extremely patient and pleasant. I dont go as much as I use to but this Team is worth the drive in a place that there aren't many of anymore!! 10 on service and 10 on my family's meal!! Everyone was pleased because of these people in this place!!
So glad this location has not closed down since ours did a couple of years ago. Quick service, fresh and hot food. Still love the tempura-like crispy batter on the fish and chicken planks. And gotta order extra hushpuppies!
This is an older building, and there isn't a drive thru. Doesn't matter, because this is the best Long John Silvers I have had in 10+ years. I drove from Hampton to here and it was absolutely worth the drive. I will be back!!
The food was hot. The batter was thick and crispy. The oil tasted fresh!! This was like eating at Long John Silvers in the 90s!! This is the spot for fast food fish!!
My favorite place to eat. Best seafood. Never a crowd, good prices, always great customer service, and absolutely delicious food. I wish there was a closer one near me but it's worth the drive. A+ food.
Deciding that we have missed LJS so much we decided to make the 3 & 1/2hr one way drive to the closest location.
It was Saturday night, got there around 8:45p & this location did not disappoint in food or service even though they were pretty busy.
The 3 employees working there were very fast, friendly & helpful. Our order was correct, hot & yummy!! We even ordered a lot of food to go so we can reheat at home . Its been way too long! Lol. Thank you guys for making this outing worth the long drive!!
No drive thru, which is a bit annoying but not a deal breaker. The staff is friendly enough. LJS's is nostalgic for me, so the atmosphere is great.
The proteins, fries, and hushpuppies are usually spot on. My big problem is with the other sides here. A few times we've come here and the coleslaw was turning bad or the corn or the mac and cheese was drying out. I'd suggest checking these things before you leave.
I loved the fish & shrip the green beans & Cole slaw was fabulous. My brother had the grilled Salomon & ship he said it was to bad but he was disappointed there was only 3 shrimp. He did love the green beans & corn.
Hard to find these days this old school gem is worth checking out! I have always enjoyed a good battered and fried chicken combo!
The food was hot and they were very friendly. I was going to save some for dinner but that didn't happen.
My fave? The hushpuppies and the crumbs!!! Lol
And it was not overpriced
Long John Silvers in College park is great. Be very sure to count your fish or chicken, sometimes you get shorted. The employees are great and join their making list for cool discounts.
This place was fast and hot!!! I swear, I was in and out in less than a minute!! The two employees at counter were courteous, accurate and quick. Everyone was wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. I am so glad I was passing by and seen them open!! I got the chicken and fish platter. I'll be back!!
Everything about the vist went perfect. The employees know what to do and how to execute. Been going to Long John Silver's for over 30 years and to this day, they keep on delivering.

Its an older location so the building and interior are a bit dated/could use some renovation, however, the quality of the food and customer service was excellent, and that's what matters most to me.
I would like to give kudos to William. We noticed him cooking, But after ringing up customer he took time to wash his hands before returning to cooking....Thank you 😊
The fish, fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies were all great, and were brought to me pretty quickly after ordering!
