Nice little place, food was awesome but I should have said no cilantro 🙁. I know Mexican food has a lot but I like eating tacos 😂. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend would be the salsa, I thought it would be made to order but they just pulled it out of the fridge in front. The salsa wasn’t as fresh as I thought it would be. My birria tacos was definitely on point so I had to order an extra one on the side😋. Only thing is I wish they gave more napkins
 one is definitely not enough.

Best burritos on the island! All of their breakfast menu plates can be ordered as a burrito too! I always order the CMT Burrito and lucky me they were running a special that got you a free Shrimp ceviche tostada with every order. Parking can be a little difficult but it's worth the drive and hassle! absolutely delicious. The burrito comes packed with steak, fish, chicken, rice, beans, cheese, and an amazing sauce. The ceviche was good but i had a long drive home and the tostada got too soft before i was able to eat them together.

One of the best burritos I've had on island. Really reminds me of the authentic Mexican food I am accustomed to in California. You have to come here!

My parents recently went for their Father's Day evening and were so happy! I was so grateful to find something as wonderful as this while I was off island for my Dad and how they loved it! My Dad spoke really highly of their mole and the jalapeño cornbread. An awesome place in Wahiawa and wonderful addition to the cultural community.

Food was good, service was fast, I just wished they had more parking lol. I was afraid I would get towed since I parked in the alley nearby.

Small cafe serving delicious burritos, tacos and chips with avocada salsa, staff were friendly and courteous, customized the tacos and burritos for our vegetarian needs and served them hot and delicious. They are only few minutes drive from Dole Plantation and a good place to have lunch, limited parking on site, only 3 to 4 cars.

Great food, and incredibly friendly staff. Didn’t expect to find authentic Latin food like what we’re used to back home, but this was it. Highly recommend!

Best Mexican food and killer tacos in Honolulu, HI The service was amazing. The music just makes you want to dance. So I did just that all over the place. So there is only carryout at the moment. You order on the inside, and then they will bring it out to your car. You can order ahead. The tacos are the best I have had in my whole life. Marlin, shrimp, and chicken tacos. The mild sauce had my lips on fire. But it hurt so well!!

This is the best Cali Burrito outside of San Diego!!! The steak was cooked perfectly, the French fries were crispy and the sauce was delicious!! It’s a small place so if you come at lunch get there at least by 11:30 for no waiting seating.

As a Mexican I am always looking for good Mexican food in Hawaii. The food here is original. It is not Tex-Mex, it's authentic food from different parts of Mexico. A must go if you're in the Wahiawa area or great stop on the way to North Shore!

Perfect for Valentine's or the special event for your girl or guy if they like tacos or if you just want alot of tacos. This worked perfect for my heart shaped platter. Buying closer to the meal time is best I bought a few hours prior and it took some reheating but they worked great. Don't ask if they have military discount, that's all they serve to and will scoff at the idea of you asking, that's what happened to me. Great tacos though we will be back.

After being introduced to Barrio Cafe through a Yelp event showcasing their ceviche additions to the menu, I’ll be bringing my husband here since we’re continually searching for great Mexican food on island. It’s off the beaten tourist path, but well worth the drive just for the horchata - a creamy drink made of rice milk and cinnamon that is just amazing. The ceviche is also stellar, and I look forward to sampling the entire menu!

This is a really great cafe! I loved it. I ordered the Mexi-Loco Moco and it was delicious. The salsa verde and pork had really good flavor. The chips, salsa, and guacamole are also good too. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

In the mood for creative and tasty Mexican breakfast and/or lunch in Wahiawā? Look no further than Barrio CafĂ© whose chef has gleaned her cooking experiences from Ceviche House and El Palenque. Barrio Café’s ALL-DAY Breakfast and lunch menu will certainly have something delicious for your palate. They’re open Mon - Sat from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. So plan accordingly. The chef serves traditional Mexican dishes with a local flair that adds to the flavors and even makes her own hot sauce (squeeze bottle at each table). If you need something to cool you off, there are ONLY non-alcoholic beverages served here such as horchata, various flavored agua fresca, fruit juices, coffee and soft drinks. There is a local breakfast special called “Leileihua Band Burrito” which features SPAM, eggs, beans & cheese all rolled into a humongous burrito. 10% of its cost goes back to support the Leileihua High School Band. We haven’t tried it yet but, if you like all of those ingredients, Barrio CafĂ© has you covered.
