Los Tres Mex - Waikoloa - Photo album

The best real Mexican food I have had in a long time, maybe the best on the island. I went with two friends. We got Chicken Nachos, a Taco plate, a Chicken Chimichango and a Pork Burrito. Flavor was great, prices were fair, service was fast and friendly from a happy, bubbly Mexican Woman. I don't ge
THIS IS THE PLACE! My husband and I are on our honeymoon and we haven’t had the best experiences with food on the island so far until now! This is probably the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. Service was quick and friendly, food blew us away. It’s located inside a strip/outdoor mall but there are a f
Food was good. Lady behind counter was great! Took care of many customers, all with a big smile. We had the burrito grande and cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. All was vegetarian. Rice was not made in chicken broth and beans were not made with Lard!! Very refreshing, vegetarian options w
This place is the real deal. Great shredded beef tacos and enchiladas. The flavor of the rice, beans and meat is excellent. We ate here twice on our vacation to Waikoloa.
I’m really picky about Mexican food growing up in So. Cal. This place had fantastic food, great homemade beans and good salsa. It was surprisingly really good.
Staff was very friendly. Couple tables inside, no a/c but had ceiling fans. You are offered either red or green sauce on top of your dish. Food was made on the spot so took a some minutes of waiting, but well worth it. Portions are HUGE and delicious. My husband and I like more spicy Mexican food, w
4 of us got different burritos and they were all amazing! My only gripe is that they weren't open on Sunday because we wanted it the next day!
Ordered Chile relleno and pork enchilada. It was good, loved the pork enchilada.
Simple food, they make it fresh so there will be a wait before you get your food. Fish taco was tasty and a decent serving size.
Excellent vegetarian food. The beans are super flavorful as is the salsa. The staff is super friendly. The food is made to order, so it takes a bit longer, but it is totally worth the wait. Los Tres Mex is our favorite Mexican restaurant on the Big Island!
Food is delicious!!! Very friendly service. Affordable prices. The only issue was that there are not enough tables to sit and enjoy ....take out is best.
Mexican restaurants are my absolute favorite and this one has out done them all. The portion sizes are massive, the best burrito I've ever had. This restaurant is the reason I'll be crying on my flight home from Hawaii.
Real Mexican food right in Waikoloa Village. Their house salsa is so good I always get extra. It's fresh. We haven't had anything here we didn't like. It's all good.
Loved this place. My vegeterian burrito was excellent, big, and filling. My husband's food was excellent too he said. We were vacationing from NY. I will edit this with his food item soon. A must go if you are looking for Mexican food when in the area.
Great little Mexican place in a small food court. We went there twice during our visit and the food was great and staff were friendly.
A nice spot for a quick bite. I got the taco plate with rice and beans. I chose the shredded beef which was very tender but to me did not have much flavor. With some salsa on top it tasted much better. My boyfriend had the chicken burrito and said it was delicious!
We wanted Mexican food, so decided to go to Los Tres Mex while we on Big Island. The a place is a little kiosk, the seats are outside. It was evening and very windy. My daughter and I are vegan so we ordered nachos, but asked to make it vegan. It had beans, guacamole and pico de gallo. Also, we ord
Solid lunch spot. My wife and I will order from here when we are out of food and want something easy. Certainly more tex-mex than Mexican, but it's not bad. I used to live in Texas, so it's difficult to find comparable "Mexican food" on the island, but this scratches the itch if we don't have time t
5 stars is a big deal. I gave Tres Mex all five because the food is great, and the staff are friendly. Really good Mexican food on the Big Island? It’s a thing.
