Don’t come here if you are looking for ambience and mediocre food! DO come here if you are craving delicious pastele & gandule rice! Pricing is fair for the hefty plate. Healthy alternative for me & my keiki especially for what’s in the area! Remember cash only! Plan to order over the phone, pull up
Anytime I’m in Waipahu I try to stop by and get some Wat Get. Pateles, gandule rice, bacalao salad - perfectly balanced meal, each packed with amazing flavors. Service is always amazing as well. They treat you like family that welcomed you into their own kitchen. It’s nice to be able to see into the
My cousin & I were waiting for the bus across the street & saw 'empanadas' written in the front, the Hispanic in me told to run over there to get some. Wat Get has awesome pastele plates! The Hapa plate has Gandule rice, Bacalao salad and a pastele. So far everyone I know who has tried it, has loved it! There is no real seating except for 2 stools at an outside counter. It is well worth the trip to Waipahu (if you are not already there).
Ive seen the "pastele" sign on the window of this store and thought to myself man I need to go there one day. Well, today was that day. You can tell their food is made with love right when you take that first bite. The lady that made our plates was so helpful and I could tell she loved to see all her customers happy. The quantity of food in a plate is just right, not too much and not no more enough. This was my first time eating her
Very friendly! I was completely unfamiliar with this kind of food, so he explained me what it's made of and I could even try some of his delicious food for free!
Worth your time and appetite 😋😋😋 So delicious ‼️ Puerto Rican cuisine with heaps of ALOHA ♥️🥰♥️
Your gandule rice is amazing. I use to go there, 6 years ago. I miss your gandule rice. I now reside at Alaska, and there is no gandule rice here. I would love to have your recipe, so I can make for my family only.
