Pizzas are amazing (the salad was mediocre) but the indoor seating area is closed. We did not know you have to either place your order ahead of time or order on the spot and wait outside to get your food. The bright side is they have the coziest outdoor space to sit by the fire or on one of the many picnic tables or Adirondack chairs. The atmosphere was priceless.

Open up your dining room. It’s more than just the pizza. It’s the whole Flatbread experience. Please open up soon. Take out is not the same. We want to see the clay oven and enjoy the warmth of the inside. Anyway, miss the dining experience. Sorry, I will not be ordering take out. This covid business has been going on for years now. Let’s try and get things back to normal. Open up please. Thanks. Love your pizza!!

We love American Flatbread! The indoor dining is cozy and friendly, and the entire space is beatiful- one of our favorite spots to run into friends. Dining here (including desserts and gluten free flatbread) is always a treat.

American Flatbread in Waitsfield is located on Lareau Farm and Inn. It’s quaint and the food is delicious and in the summer months the sprawling field surrounding the restaurant becomes extended dining space. The Inn is open year round for guests. Weddings often take place here as well. Flatbread Pizza has a smoky flavor that you just cannot get from anything other than a wood fired oven. In addition to the delicious flavour and friendly service this restaurant delivers food with a superior texture. As in fresh food and salad ingredients that are crispy and crunchy and flavourful where they should be. It’s a truly amazing dining treat.

Amazing Pizza A+++ I came alone on a snowy Sunday last March. I waited for a while but there was great beer and the people were friendly. I got a great table near the wood fired oven and enjoyed watching the action. These guys (and gals) love what they do and it shows! Yes, it’s a little tight and at times it gets loud, but the overall experience and delicious food make this a must go for me. I know I’ll be back.

We arrived and there was a few small groups waiting to be seated. For 2 we were quoted a 30 minute wait and it took maybe 5 minutes longer than that. We were sat at an awkward place (2 seater right next to the kitchen and facing the fire, the seats do not face each other). Our waitress took about 5 minutes to come by. The drink list had a number of options but only a handful of each were available by the glass. They do allow you to split the pizza with whatever versions you want, each is charged as half of the price of that pizza’s full cost. The pizza itself was really good and had a very nice crust. We got a special pizza split with the cheese and herb. The art gallery next door is cute. There was also a fire outside that was nice.

Locally sourced ingredients prepared with passion. My favourite flatbread/pizza I've eaten to date. Excellent beer pairings available. Excellent service. Always packed but the staff are accommodating and there is a warm fire pit to enjoy a beverage and chat while waiting for a table. Once seated there is no pressure to rush your meal. Feels like a home cooked meal. A must visit for vacationers and locals alike.
