I just happened upon this place a few years back. Gave it a shot, and have steadily gone back. I like spicy, Tom does not! Everything on the menu has your choice of level of spice, and the service is always exceptional. I highly recommend Aroy Thai Restaurant!
I get the curry pad Thai once a week and it's unbelievable highly recommend it although I got it tonight and it's off a little just not as much flavor but still good just thought I would let you know not bad enough to change my weekly routine
The food was good, the variety decent, and it was nice to find some alternatives to fast food out in Allendale.
Tom Yum Soup with Medium Spice — instant decongestant to relieve a head cold! A half order is still two big servings.

Best massaman curry in West Michigan! The portions are large and the price is right. Always stop in when I'm in the area.
Great food, however, it's ridiculous to charge for extra green onions or an extra lemon wedge or two. I'd also love to see the one in Allendale tidy up their yard in front...pull the weeds, plant a few flowers; it's just not in keeping with the other businesses along LMD. I bet it could be done in a morning by a few willing volunteers who would do the work for a "thank you" lunch..

The Tom Yum soup was an incredible way to warm up from the cold weather today! Also thoroughly enjoyed the Pad Thai noodle dish. I will be back to indulge the tasty dishes!

This is a very unimposing storefront restaurant in Standale that is a hidden gem. I ordered the Curry Pad Thai (medium spice) and Thai iced tea. The flavors were perfect. The spice was not too much for medium level but not so spicey to keep me from trying more spice the next time. The tea was perfect. They need to work on the overall atmosphere but they definitely got the food side of things handled.
I have been going to Aroy Thai since they were located in Allendale. They have been my favorite local restaurant. The quality is always phenomenal and consistent. The food is delicious and the staff has always been nothing but kind. I have never once has an incorrect order and adore how quick their takeout is!
Bland space in a strip mall but good food. Fast, friendly service! Large portions at a reasonable price. I will be back to try more!

Everything is good, but I swear they won't give me the spice I ask for, like I know I'm white lol, but I want to sweat and I order hot and they give me all the warnings and it's almost medium and that's me being very generous.

Every time I come here, the food is out of this world. The only thing that needs serious help is the atmosphere. It is very cold and gray and uninviting. If one of those restaurant rescue shows is up for it, I have a great candidate for you. They are worth it 💖
First time I order Med 2 - Way too spicy. TONS of peppers in it.
Second time I ordered Med 1 - Still too hot, Sauce was pinkish from all the crushed red pepper.
Taste is great but my mouth is on fire! Not sure they know how to measure the spicy level! I love some heat but DANG!
This is a great place to get good Thai food and online ordering is easy. There is no option to track your order if using the Toast application.
Their food is SO good, but I definitely think they need to do a little more of a controlled approach to their spices haha I have gotten "medium" there quite a few times and it varies a LOT, with the most recent experience (yesterday) absolutely destroying my mouth! It was absolutely delicious, I just could have done with a bit less sweating, crying, and nose-running
Good food, but the spice is NO JOKE. I like a little spice, but not a painful amount, so I ordered medium… and I’m in a bit of pain eating my lunch!

Very good cheap Thai food. Quick service and large portions. Mild spice will be enough for most, medium only for the bold.
Had an absolute great experience The food was outstanding! The young lady who waited on us was absolutely wonderful and full of knowledge.
My family eats here quite a bit. My wife tends to get the exact same thing every time and she loves it. I try something new more often and have never had a bad meal. We will continue to go back.
