Blacksalt Fish Market & Restaurant - Washington DC - Photo album

There are some DC restaurants you just can’t go wrong with! The seafood is fabulous and the oysters are amazing!! There are an array of menu options and everything is out of the ocean fresh. I was looking for a good lunch burger and even though I was tempted to order some seafood, I stuck to my guns
Nothing but good things to say. A bit off the beaten track but worth the trip. We checked out happy hour right before dinner. Oysters rockefeller was excellent! Adies mussels were good. Calamari was a good portion. Drinks were good and not watered down. Staff were extremely nice and inviting. There'
This was our first time here and we will definitely return. Food was delicious and our waiter, Will was fantastic. We especially recommend the oysters Rockefeller, the calamari, the clam chowder and seafood stew. Desserts were wonderful as well. By that time, we were so full that we needed to bring
They food was very good and the service was outstanding. They soft shell crab appetizer is to die for. I would go out of my way for that dish. The octopus was a nice dish too. The caldo de frango was lighter than I would have liked it. The waiter said it was light soup, but it was way too light for

Had a warm experience at Black Salt. I visited during RW, which made it more affordable, but the menu was well curated for a varied experience. We had the Rhode Island calamari to start, the Caldo de Mariscos for main and creme brulee/peach cobbler as dessert. The service and the ambiance were grea
Solid spot for great fresh seafood with an attention to detail and presentation. Portions are actually relatively large as you can see in my photos. I loved it but gave it 4 stars because I did feel the cost could be a touch less.
I was looking for a lunch spot with fish and chips. This place came up on my search and I’m glad it did. The vibe of the interiors is chill. There’s a market at the front, bar & booth seating next and tables in the back. This would be a good place for happy hour or an indulgent long dinner. The se
