Great place to get decent craft beer. Solid range of beers from the surrounding region and a good variety of styles. We had some bar snacks and the portions were generous. Service was super friendly if a little slow with one person serving quite a few guests.

Great beer selection but they had quite a few beers that were on the menu but were not available. I totally understand it’s difficult to update large beer menus consistently. I’ve been there too. Not a negative. Just a warning to others looking for beers. Food was good as well. The bar staff were semi-knowledgeable about the beers and that was ok. Not a negative, but I wasn’t able to dive too deep into asking questions about the beers. Again, not a negative for me, but if I didn’t know about beer it might be difficult to know about some of the beers on the menu.

Do you like good craft beer? Well if you’re in DC’s Logan Circle neighborhood you definitely need to check this place out. It has a massive beer selection with something for every taste. From awesome DIPA and everything in between. Also we had the tater tots and the cauliflower bites… and they were incredibly delicious. Also, a super cool vibe inside with plenty of seating. A must see if you enjoy great beer.

Great craft beer bar, knowledgeable bar staff, 50 beers on tap, wish they had less national/big craft beers on tap and more local. Extensive beer bottle list with hard to find beers, especially good Belgium beer selection. Fast friendly service, hard to notice from the street. Definitely recommend a visit if you love beer.

You seat yourself but there is wait staff for the table. The cocktails are incredible, the beer list is extensive, and the food was good for the most part. My favorite bite was probably the fish & chips. Service was friendly, but could be more attentive. I would definitely recommend this place for the beer lover in your life.

Insane craft beer menu! This place is the bomb - incredible menu of beers on tap and in the fridge. Awesome ambiance. We’ll just have to keep coming back to get through the menu 🍻

Walking up to the chalkboard signage propped directly infront of this black and brick fortress, I was prepared to be greeted by your run of the mill, New-American watering hole. What I came to find once I walked up those hallowed steps was a dimly lit leather sanctuary that would quickly become one of my favorite beer and bourbon bars I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The ambiance alone is enough to keep you coming back - you can tell they put a lot of effort into finding just the right lighting with just the right accents to fine tune your brain for booze consumption. Let me stop dancing around the main point here - ChurchKey's beer list rivals the best I've ever seen. This may sound hyperbolic, and maybe it is, but having been exposed to world class beer bars across the States I feel my barometer is calibrated to appreciate what this place is trying to accomplish. Anytime you have fresh IPAs from Fidens/Monkish/Other Half in the same vicinity as Side Project white labels and rare Cantillon lambics, you know you've fallen into a honey hole. The bourbon list, though not as extensive as their beer offerings, is perfectly curated with many top tier choices. Anywhere from a Weller Antique 107 to a Michter's 20 - they truly have an incredible lineup of brown water. I can't really comment on the food as my trip was all business (alcohol only), but from what I could tell they're no slouches on the grub they serve up here. If you are a lover of beer or bourbon or even just want a nice pint of your go-to sauce, you need to go to Church.
