We visited the restaurant with my wife, our friend and her children. A very stylish establishment almost in the center of Washington. Three huge beautiful halls, each of which is decorated in its own style. The food is very tasty, without exception. The children also liked everything - and this is an indicator of quality food, I think. It is difficult to force a child to eat something he does not like. The service was great! Our server Alison was impeccable and friendly! Alison, thank you for a wonderful lunch! I definitely recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant!

Came here after a White House tour early afternoon on a weekday. The establishment was warm and classy as were the host and waiter. The waiter gave us plenty of time to decide on our orders and provided excellent recommendations for us to consider. Decided to order calamari, fried catfish, a Hamilton burger, the crunchy tuna roll, lump crab cake sandwich, and capped it off with a blackberry shortcake. Let me tell you… the food was great. Although the biscuits in the shortcake were a bit on the hard side, maybe try the peach cobbler… I’d definitely recommend this place.

Went last night and the food and drinks were amazing. We started with the Arancini which was delicious and they were a good size - it comes with 3, and I thought one and a half was the absolute perfect amount. For dinner, I got the crab cake and swapped fries for the potato gratin. The crab cake had massive chunks of crab which made it so delicious and hearty (super filling, I only got one!) And the amount of gratin that you got was pretty big as well. My husband got a steak which was cooked perfectly, had a gorgeous char on it, and was wonderfully seasoned. We ended up skipping dessert because we were so full! Vibe was elevated but still a bit casual. Family friendly (not a lot of kids, but they were there at multiple tables), massive restaurant, a bit loud but not to its detriment. Overall, fantastic experience.

Absolutely enjoyed dinner here! Fitz (sp.?) was AMAZING! He was funny and kind; he was great. The food was tasty. We had the burger, pictured, and sushi that was so tasty I forgot the picture. The atmosphere was lively & classy! Enjoyed everything & will be back once I'm in the area.

We had a late night sushi dinner and it was fabulous. Happy hour for sushi starts at 11pm and rolls are five dollars off. Excellent atmosphere and great food! A downtown DC staple.

Very nice place for lunch! Can definitely recommend going here. We were here as tourists, which was not a problem. There were quite some business meetings as well. Food was delicious! I had the homemade radiatori pasta with vodka sauce, it was delicious. Also a nice place for kids, they have nice food for them. My cappuccino was delicious, but not so cheap (5 dollars). And then best part was the vanilla milkshake, the best milkshake ever! You have to try it

We were seated immediately and got our food within 10 minutes of ordering, which was impressive because they were very busy. We received our sushi after our entre and it was pretty good. Our food was delicious. I had the lump Crab cake and my husband had the catfish. Their milkshake had more whip cream than milkshake and we were pretty disappointed about that.

We had a really good experience here. The food was good and service was fast and attentive. It was a bit louder than expected on a Wednesday at 5:30 as the bar area appeared to fill up after work. There was quite a bit of background noise that made it hard to hear people sitting at our booth. That being said, it is a unique atmosphere with good food.

Delicious sushi for a great price (sushi happy hour). I would definitely recommend. Everything is presented beautifully and the prices are on the more expensive side. The milkshakes were great, citrus parfait desert was quite flavorful, unique, and there was a lot of whipped cream. The service was good, our waiter was definitely in a rush, but he was friendly/

My recent visit to Hamilton Restaurant DC was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this restaurant was something special. The warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for what turned out to be a truly memorable dining experience. First and foremost, the food was nothing short of fantastic. The menu offered a delightful variety of dishes to choose from, and every bite was an explosion of flavor. The chefs at Hamilton Restaurant DC clearly know their craft, as every dish we ordered was executed to perfection. From the tender and juicy steaks to the mouthwatering seafood options, every plate was a culinary masterpiece. What truly elevated this dining experience, though, was the outstanding service provided by our server, Nadine. She was the perfect representation of this restaurant. Her knowledge of the menu, as well as her genuine passion for ensuring we had an exceptional experience, was evident from the moment she introduced herself. Nadine's recommendations were spot on, and her attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and attentiveness made the evening even more special. The atmosphere at Hamilton Restaurant DC was also a highlight. The decor was tasteful and inviting, and the live entertainment added to the overall charm. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort, making it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners and special celebrations. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, every aspect of our dining experience at Hamilton Restaurant DC was truly exceptional. The combination of outstanding food, impeccable service by Nadine, and the inviting ambiance made this visit an unforgettable one. If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in Washington, D.C., look no further than Hamilton Restaurant DC. I can't wait to return to savor more of their culinary delights and soak in the warm hospitality.

The experience at the Hamilton was impeccable. Reservations were honored. Multiple bar options available. Multiple types of dining including dining booths, tables, and some private booth options. The menu has so many options including options for children and sushi. The waiters were knowledgeable on the products with friendly demeanors. A great option if your family or friend group has many picky eaters with particular tastes. The atmosphere changes by the room, but is generally comfortable and relaxing.

Owned by Clyde's restaurant group (who also owns Clyde's and Old Ebbit Grill), this is an exceptional place to dine. With elegant and sophisticated rooms, professional dining staff, cool decor, two bars, and a music venue underground, it offers a lot. While Old Ebbit Grill has happy hour oysters, The Hamilton has Happy Hour Sushi, where they take $5 off the sushi prices from 2-5 PM or 10 PM - 1 AM. Since we visited outside of happy hours, we tried the Queen Trident Roll, which is the only roll ineligible for the discount. FOOD: The menu is virtually the same between all the restaurant groups, except The Hamilton is known for their sushi, has more steak options, and fish. For these reasons, I would say this is probably one of the better restaurants owned by Clyde's since they have more options. DESSERT: Once more, The Hamilton offers another unique experience, since they have boozy and regular milkshakes. However, one can also order one to drink during the meal as well (although it's not on the regular menu). The milkshakes are delicious and not massive, so I would recommend each person order their own.

Very much enjoyed appetizers and drinks here. Lively atmosphere, decent wait service, excellent location. Particularly enjoyed the Sweet Heat cocktail - it’s made with Chacho which is produced locally. I plan to come back again soon!

Great ambiance. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was worth trying this place. We were in a private booth, very intimate. The food was great, good portions and not that expensive.

Top tier service from people who ensured our experience was all that we could hope for. Beyond expectations in a world of scanned app-based menus and bussing your own tables. Fried fish was corn based batter - not my favorite, but the hake itself was delicious, and our two salmon rolls were terrific. The ceaser salad is a must have, I would go back just for that alone. The cocktails were refreshing, and my son said the wings were "the best he'd ever had."

This was a great restaurant to go to. The food was terrific and the service was even better. Our server kept a close eye on us the whole time and gave great recommendations. We would have gone here every day if we had been in the area.

This was my absolute favorite place to eat in DC. We went at 1:30 for a late lunch and did not have reservations. We did not have to wait for a party of 6 but the large restaurant was full! The ambiance is beautiful! It has a very Theodore Roosevelt vibe to it with dark wood furniture and a Gilded Age decor. The menu is extensive! There is something for everyone here! The service was top notch. Our server was friendly and attentive. If you go for dinner or on the weekend, I recommend a reservation. I believe we got lucky going on a Wednesday afternoon. Definitely try this if you are in the DC area!
