My go to is their Memphis Pulled Pork sandwich. I've had it twice now and it was always worth it! I also recommend ordering The Works for something sweet. Every time we visit D.C. this is my go-to place for lunch.

The staff was awesome, they made sure if something was wrong they fixed it immediately. The rain started to fall as we were eating and they actually brought us a stand and market umbrella to keep us dry. The food was amazing! Staff ( again) fantastic!
I have never in my 24 years of life had a chicken and waffle meal. But when I tell you I’m so happy my first experience here because the juicy chicken breast mixed with that tasty waffle was a piece of heaven. ���

i am gluten free and rarely get a great tasting waffle. I must say....hands the best waffle I have ever put in my mouth. OMGGG!!! It is to die for. I really wish they would open one closer to my home.

Waffles for lunch? Yes, please! I had the smoked salmon and it was delicious. I thought waffle "bread" would make it a heavy sandwich, but just the opposite. The savory waffle was a light addition holding together the salmon, cream cheese, capers, lettuce, and tomato inside. Really tasty! The Peking duck was recommended but already gone by the time I got there. Arrive early to get the full selection.
I have been to Wicked Waffle DC many times. The staff and owner have always given me tremendous service and food. I'm really surprised to read such a harsh commentary. There are always two sides to a story.

This place is wicked!!! So glad the reviews led me here. Otherwise there is no way for a tourist like me to find this place off the beaten path.
Take note that the venue is not big and there are only about 10 seats in there. However scores of people visit this place for obvious reasons.
Their waffles are really light and tastes awesome. The savory menu creative! Peking Duck Waffles, how can you resist trying this! This looks simply amazing but the meat is a little too sweet for me.

The best waffle I’ve ever had! I feel like I could eat here every day. The waffle is so light and fluffy with a perfectly crisp outside that just breaks apart barely stabbing it with your fork.
The service is also tremendous. It’s always busy but they do a great job of managing a long line. I believe the gentleman that helped me the first day was named Benjamin and he was absolutely stellar. Just so nice and even handing people menus so they don’t have to look up.
Both dishes I tried were phenomenal but the apple was definitely my favorite.
Will definitely visit again! Got a gluten free sausage egg plate and it was delicious, didn’t crumble apart, I could even eat it as a sandwich if I wanted. Workers were kind and orderly and handled crowds well. Menu was very clearly marked and there was no sense of a gf diet being a bother to cater do. Will DEFINITELY be returning to try the savory and sweet waffles!
Unique restaurant serving both savory and sweet waffles and waffle sandwiches. The smoked salmon waffle sandwich had a satisfying crunch and was pretty tasty. Others with me were also pleased with their meals. Beware that the space is tiny and the counter help was cold and unhelpful.
Stumbled in this little gem on an early sunday morning with my daughter. Everything waffle you can think of from savory to sweet. Just look at the pics! The waffles are really light and fluffy! So good! Not a huge dine-in space, but for the taste and the price, I would definitely go back!
I really enjoyed this waffle in DC. I have wanted to try it for a while it's always packed when I go by - so I go on the busiest holiday weekend. I waited in line for about 15 minutes before it was my turn to order. I wanted to try a little bit of each so I chose the fried chicken waffle, with a side of bacon and eggs.
The waffle is just as delicious as they say you really don't need syrup but I chose to use it a
nyways. This was probably one of the most light and airy Belgian waffles I have ever eaten in my life. The fried chicken was pretty good, not amazing but Definately good.
Even though it looks busy at typically doesn't take people very long to eat and the Warriors are out quick. Would definately go back I enjoyed chatting with the people who work there. My goal is to up my belgian waffle game after eating here.
They offer a discount for Military, Police, EMS, and Firefighters; I think this is a super cool way for a business to thank first responders and public servants.
We stopped in for breakfast after a early morning appointment in DC. We were a party of two. The place had several dinners already eating at the small counters and outside. The store is designed to keep traffic moving. Enter one door and exit the other. We ordered two breakfast items (see photos). They were ok, not heavenly. Staff was positive. Well retun to check out a nutella or strawberry waffle.
Come here for dessert waffles, the savory ones are good but not worth paying a premium to have ordinary ingredients between two waffles. I ordered the chicken and waffles which would have been good had the waffle not been so hard that I had to saw at it with my knife. The chicken was good at least, and you get a bag a chips with every order. Service was super fast, they cranked out orders for my party of 8 in about 10 minutes.
Ok the service is not the best but the food was "Da Bomb". Worth the trip. During Covid-19 sitting arrangements is a bit awkward. I had the French Toast Waffle with a la cart eggs and sausage, my friend had the cinnamon apple waffle .....DELICIOUS!!!

This is a unique twist on waffles. It is different but has some similarity to the ideas of chicken and waffles and sweet dessert waffles. They have a large variety of waffle sandwiches and sweet waffles. The staff are super friendly and courteous, they create a welcoming and enjoyable experience. The waffles are fantastic and absolutely delicious. I would go back.

We got three waffles to split between two people. The savory waffles come as sandwiches or open-faced. I would very much recommend the mango-Brie and the French toast waffle. It can get pretty busy around 10:30-11:00 am on Sundays. If you can do take-out, I would recommend eating at the square nearby.
What an amazing place for us gluten free people! The gluten free waffles are absoluteley amazing. Crunchy in texture and not gumny or chewy like a lot of GF products. I had a sweet waffle with chocolate drizzle. It was so good I had to to for seconds and had a waffle with strawberries. So good! Customer service was outstanding, everyone is so friendly. They also offer vegan waffles and almond milk.
This place is a must! Do not be deceived by the simplicity. The waffles are just as described on the menu, light and airy. Like and new level of airy, and delicious! I had the Fuji apple waffle, which was delicious, especially since I love apple pie and this was close to feeling like I was having apple pie for breakfast. My daughter had the French Toast waffle, which was maybe a tiny bit better than mine. It’s a close call though. The coffee was good and they offer a wide variety of juices. There’s not much room to sit, so take it to go or hope you get there when you can sit down.
Tasty menu items without breaking the bank. Ordering can be a little hectic, so be sure to pick out what you want in advance. Anything with nutella is great!
