Best brunch in DC! Offers all-you-can-drink bloody marys, mimosas, and champagne, all of which are high quality, along with good food options. The calamari is a particularly stand-out menu item.

Loved this quant French Restaurant! Great food and service, and affordable. Nothing like dining in front of a fire.

Stopped by after visiting Zoo lights. Before getting back on the metro we stopped here & had dinner. It's small & quaint. A neighborhood gem, I'm sure. We both had Cesar's Salads & shared a calamari appetizer. It was delicious! Our waitress was fast & attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant & will return.

What a great little place. Seats about 16. Authentic and tasteful foods a nice team working there gives you attention but not too much. There are abundant choices on this street I recommend you try this place. Just love the converted old house into a nice classy little ressteraunt. Pizza was very tasty yet light and not heavy.

Great dishes, true to the French culinary tradition. Veal cheeks are outstanding, melting in your mouth. Amazing deserts, especially the floating island... will definitely come back here on my next trip to DC.

Great pasta. The ribeye was had a lot of tendons but was well-cooked and well seasoned. The staff was inexperienced with wine but a tentative and willing to please. A great experience. Much more of a neighborhood jem than an established powerhouse. Highly recommend the ravioli.

Service was quick and professional. Food was incredible. The best sauteed calamari of my life (55). Seafood salad was delicious, Grand Marnier crepes a perfect finish.

This is one of my favorite places in the district. It’s very small and intimate. Great for a romantic date or cozy catch-up with friends, and the food is always amazing. The owners are friendly and personable. Such a hidden gem!

We spent the day at the zoo and walked back towards the metro, it's first restaurant you run into. Babygirl wanted pizza so the pizza place is actually downstairs. However, being a rather chilly winter day, they allowed us to sit upstairs in the sister restaurant. The staff was so friendly and super helpful. They were very attentive. The pizza...was ok, nothing spectacular, but it was good enough for 3 three hungry folks and $14 for a pepperoni pizza isn't bad at all. The restaurant, Petits Plats, the menu seemed good, and the decor was quaint, inviting, and cozy. We will defintely be back to try this place again.

Went there for brunch. It's a cute little place with amazing food. I ordered the coconut French toast; it was made out of challah giving it a great texture with a rich flavor. Also reasonably priced.

Charming little place with excellent food and good service. The main dining room is small and cozy, has a wood fireplace, and an intimate feel. Very good French fare and a reasonable selection of wines.

Came here one weekday evening not knowing what to expect. Was actually quite busy - we had booked but there was a table or two still available. There seem to be options for sitting at normal tables (mostly 2 people but some fours), some hightops or at the small bar. The service was very attentive, although I did feel very slightly rushed. But generally very good, checking in with us at the appropriate times and making recommendations on food and drink. The food doesn't really fit any one particular type, although probably leans towards Italian, based on the selection of cheese and pasta. I had a Quinoa and pumpkin salad for appetizer, and Rockfish for main - both of which were excellent. Atmosphere was warm and inviting - tables are fairly close but it's not so quiet that you feel that your neighbors can hear your conversation. Will definitely be back.

This is an excellent restaurant. The atmosphere is intimate and the food is amazing. Of particular note is the authentic tarbais bean cassoulet, filled with duck confit, sausage, and pork belly. It is a hearty portion and arrived at the table with the breadcrumb crust still bubbling. My companion had the boeuf bourguignon and loved it.
