Lavagna - Washington DC - Photo album

We had an Italian brunch/lunch on Saturday. The outdoor seats were limited and mostly taken, so we decided to sit indoor by the window. I ordered the goat cheese omelette, which was rich in flavor and had a great portion. The ice coffee was decent. My friend ordered Italian sausage gravy, and the t
My fiancé and I went to Lavagna for Date night located in SE DC. It’s been on my list to try for a while. The host staff was very friendly when seating us and taking our order. We tried the Bruschetta and Apple Salad for our starter before getting into the entrees. The Apple Salad was my favorite di
This was my first time here and definitely not my last! I had spaghetti bolognese, cheesecake AND tiramisu. Everything was delicious! Service was great even though they had a full house - they were responsive and fast. Looking forward to the warmer months so I can have a meal outside. Highly recomme
Enjoyed a quick and classic spaghetti bolognese (beef & pork) with a nice glass of red wine the waiter suggested. The noodles were thick (seemed to be homemade) and blended beautifully with the flavorful bolognese. It was very well prepared. I was not offered bread but would have enjoyed soaking up
Lovely all around. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Good choice of wines. Food was delicious. Tuscan shrimp, apple salad, and Ricotta ravioli were divine. Brussel sprouts awesome. Mascarpone cheesecake and gelato were a wonderful end to a great dinner.
I come here with often and the good is always the same quality. Brunch has gotten popular over the years, you'll have to call ahead and make reservations just in case. For brunch, I always get the carbonara or sausage biscuit gravy. I love the wine selection when I get dinner there. The pasta is mad
My girlfriend and I ate here tonight (11/9/23). We both wanted to eat for a long time and were originally going to go to Matchbox, but we saw the outdoor area and a sign that advertised 50% carbonara on Thursdays which we had to have! For drinks -- I had the Italian Pilsner and my gf got a cocktail
Showed up on a Sunday and was pleased it was half price bottle wine night. The portions are massive! The fresh bread was good. I appreciated the Frank Sinatra overhead. There was something off about my dish though, maybe the taste, maybe because it was a little souper than I was expecting. Seemed li
This is a wonderful quaint little place. We had reservations and the place filled up shortly after it opened so I would recommend making them especially for brunch. They have house made limoncellos and variations using different fruit, today was Ruby red and orange. Very good. Coffee was good, a
We came here for bottomless mimosa and the service was exceptional. Our waiter made sure our glasses were never empty! We ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the lobster risotto. The spaghetti is okay but the lobster risotto is very tasty and definitely worth a try.
Never thought I’d have spaghetti carbonara for breakfast and glad I did! It’s delicious. House-made pasta. Had brunch here and it was excellent. Great dood. Great service. Bottomless mimosas and the best part was the 80’s music for ambiance :).
Excellent Italian restaurant, with farm sourced (farm to table) meals. They list all the sourcing forms over the hostesses station at the front door. The food was prepared well the spaghetti was Al Dente and the flavor was marvelous. The appetizers were really nice and the portions were a good siz
LOVE this place! Really great, tasty, well-made Italian classics in a homey neighborhood atmosphere with extremely friendly service. If you’re looking for an Italian dinner in the area with reasonable prices, this is a perfect option.
We came here for my sister-in-law's 40th birthday brunch. I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the biscuits and gravy minus the eggs. Both of our meals were good. What impressed me the most is how well they handled a large party. We had 14 or 15 guests and everything was served promptly, b
Chandler was wonderful. He checked in often without being overwhelming and made sure that we wanted for nothing. The portions are generous and definitely don't miss the ravioli!
Had mimosa and their Frittata for brunch. Their claim of all fresh ingredients was evident as their vegetables certainly were. Wife had their Eggs Benedict and they were excellent as well. Will definitely return and if you're in the area, give them a try. Will not disappoint.
