Del Mar - Washington DC - Photo album

This is located in Wharf. Nice, cute place. The food is amazing, very tasty. Service is good. The food quantity is less and they are definitely a upscale restaurant. They are expensive. Overall a great experience, it’s definitely a must try. The problem is only the parking.
Lively atmosphere. It’s a little loud inside due to the music. So, if you want to have a proper conversation with your friends/family/coworkers I recommend dining upstairs or outside. The bartender (the man in black, not wearing a floral vest) was delightful. I had tapas, drinks, and dessert at the
Lovely and quick lunch! Service was great per usual and the appetizer was delicious. Main course was hearty and flavorful but the dessert was a letdown. It was up and up until the last course. Ended with a flat note rather than a high one! Took a while for the coffee to come- had to remind the staff
Amazing dinner. The tapas was the best option for variety and overall culinary satisfaction. I loved the octopus and sardines. The oysters were presented really nicely with a dropper for the vinaigrette. 10/10 would go again!
Best Spanish restaurant I've been to in DC. Each plate was so flavorful. The paella was extremely well done, I only wish it developed a crunchy socarrat at the bottom. The restaurant itself has a very grand feel, and the seating next to the window gives you beautiful views of the boardwalk and whar
Food is delicious. Atmosphere is amazing, inside and outside. Erik, one of the managers, is so nice, welcoming, and taking a good care of customers with his smile. We wanted a cocktail and he magically got it for us :) There is only one little thing which is not a big issue, but I call it out, our s
Del Mar staff is very friendly and helpful. The grill fist and seafood rice are so delicious. My friends & I enjoyed our dinner at Del Mar so much and will definitely return when we are at DC in the future.
I recently visited this restaurant. The service from our waiter Zac was excellent . Also, the manager Mr. Benjamin came over and spoke to us to see how our night was going . We ordered the stuffed peppers , Spanish turbot , and the flan for dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant for its inviti
We had reservations for our 15th anniversary at Del Mar for Tuesday the 8th. We arrived about 30 min earlier, enter and grabbed a seat at that bar. We had 2 smoked old fashions. Amazing and very refreshing. Highly recommended. We had 1 appetizer tuna carpaccio. This was unbelievable!!! What a delici
We were dining here on a not so busy Sat night, and the experience was pretty good. Food was top notch, similar to what we had in Spain, service was good.
Amazing food! Was here for work and decided to sample some of the fine Spanish cuisine. We had paella, oysters, potatoes, jamon croquetas, and it was all lovely. Yes the prices are higher than most restaurants but I believe it was well worth it in this case. The only thing that was legit expensive w
What an experience!!! We had Henry as our waiter, he was phenomenal and very helpful with recommendations. Benjamin was also very kind to make us comfortable and check in on us during our meal. I ordered a summer Spanish gin cocktail which had cucumber and frozen watermelon cubs as a garnish, which
We stopped for a drink and ended up ordering some tapas. The Sangria Roja was pretty good. Not too sweet or not too sour. We had to try the sobrasada, wasn't sure what to expect. It’s a distinctive, paprika-spiked, raw, cured sausage that’s eaten like paté. It looks like sausage/ground chorizo but
The dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection, not over cooked and very well seasoned. The service was slower than would have liked but the food was well worth the wait when it arrived. However for the price point was expecting a little bit more than was offered.
When you're invited to dine at Del Mar, make sure to dress elegant and come with an open mind and a hearty appetite. This restaurant is known for its exquisite dining experience, and it's worth embracing the opportunity. From the moment you walk in, you'll be captivated by the lively atmosphere and
Amazing ethnic food, great wine 🍷 menu, and also non-alcoholic. I had the G.T non-alcoholic drink, It tasted almost like a real Gen and Tonic. Highly recommend the WILD CALAMARI Paellas, also the JAMÓN CROQUETAS from the Tapas menu is 🤩 amazing, and all the cured meats.
We stopped to have some appetizer .we sat on the bar outside Alyson are server was great. We order some appetizers. Great food. Great service
