Cactus Cantina - Washington DC - Photo album

Love the meal. Has the feel of a Mexican cantina, delicious Mexican entres...lots of choice. All of us at a table of 16 enjoyed the meal - good choice for large groups. Desert was a hit too. Effecient service and professional operation that's been around for years.
We stopped here briefly before our concert at the National Cathedral. We should have made reservations ahead of time because it was absolutely packed. But we were able to get what we needed and get back out in time.
Fun, buzzy restaurant with good prices on drinks and fine but not mind-blowing food. The ceviche was exceptional, the rest is pretty typical of a Mexican restaurant, but not bad at all! I'd return for the strong drinks and the lovely atmosphere and thar ceviche.
Cactus Cantina is a hidden gem that truly captures the spirit of a desert oasis. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a vibrant world filled with delicious aromas and a lively atmosphere. This five-star review is well-deserved as Cactus CantinaI is a great place to find the best Te
Atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly & efficient. Food was delicious. 2nd visit-had a few hiccups but our server Ryan was excellent, very responsive & quick to resolve our issues. My shrimp enchiladas were excellent. My companion had beef tacos & he enjoyed them. 3rd visit was ok. Very rowdy
I'm from Texas and I can say they have very good Mexican food, but the service is lacking, even though they were not very busy. We arrived early afternoon and it took a while to get drinks served and take the order. Then, when the order came out there were only three meals for the four of us. We wai
My first time eating here couldn't have been better. My friends come here often and ordered their favorite quesadillas. I ordered a combination plate of beef (shredded not ground), chicken and cheese enchiladas. We just had to wait a few minutes to get a table outside. The atmosphere was so nice
Nice spot to grab a quick lunch. Loved the cheese enchiladas.
My favorite place in washington dc. I had dinner twice and loved steak fajitas served with beans, rice and avocado salad and tortillas which are made in front of us. Service and meals are excellent. Ambiance is really nice. It is mostly crowded and you may wait for a place unless you do not have a
A kids playground that serves TexMex! This restaurant is well integrated into the neighborhood. The food flavors are dimmed for the local population. Drink more to compensate. Extensive amount of outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor seating is first come, first serve. Good venue for large groups. Sta
Monday to Thursday are always busy. Friday to Saturday you will have to wait but trust me it’s worth the time. This restaurant is huge and have many selection of food and drinks. If you like Mexican Food, you have to check out this place when you are in the DC area. Vegetarian you guys are in luck,
Ibalwats enjoy going there. Both the enchilada sauce and the salsa have changed. The enchilada sauce is a little richer and tastes more of chili. The salsa had kess of a charred taste which I liked but my daughter didn't.
