Popular spot for dinner and drinks before a show at the Kennedy Center. Food is decent. Small place tucked in off the lobby of a boutique hotel. Whomever made rhe decision about design seems to have a thing for dogs, specifically Great Danes or a breed that looks similar. Srevice was really good
Myself and my friend went there yesterday night for dinner and I can confidently say they are the reason we will be returning to DC again. Carlos our waiter is an amazing person, very attentive and knew what we needed. We celebrated my friends birthday a bit early and they made us feel like we were
Keith the manager is fantastic! A small dining area but great food! The calamari was perfect, the salad was great and the salmon over lentils melted in your mouth! Drinks from the bar were very potent. My husband thoroughly enjoyed their German beer. A great experience while here for the inauguratio
The food was delicious. I recommend the scallops w/saffron risotto. My husband, had the jumbo lump crabcake w/ succotash and loved it. The bartender had fabulous drink recommendations. Although the restaurant is small it is what my nniece likes to say "cute and fancy" with a nice ambiance.
Dish + Drinks is a excellent restaurant. Carlos and his staff make you feel like the only people in the place. He took time to suggest a wine and even gave us a few samples. The food and atmosphere are great. The price was very reasonable for a restaurant of it caliber
Staff is amazing and the food is some of the best I have ever had. Having sampled dishes from breakfast, lunch and dinner it is safe to say this place is superb! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and are easy to converse with which makes the meal that much better with a personal touch. The che
Wonderful food, great service, cozy atmosphere. Waiters know your name after two visits. This place is home for Foggy Bottom residents, especially when you need one of Keith's famous Cosmos after a long day. Food is excellent and desserts are heavenly.
Small, cozy place tucked inside the River Inn. There is a small bar and fireplace that makes the place warm & inviting. We sat at a small table by the window with a nice view of 25th Street. The menu isn't extensive with prices typical for DC. We started with the spring rolls which were very tas
Ended up here after first place we stopped was full and suggested we go around the corner. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our salads were good, both main dishes were excellent (scallops w/ risotto & salmon) and the dessert was also excellent (apple cinnamon thingy). Staff was attentive but not o
Sat at the bar for the 3-course $45 dinner, and loved every single thing! The bartender was awesome, knows a lot about the wines--he does the wine ordering--so we lucked out since we are big wine people! He introduced this Pecorino to us, and it went well with my Gazpacho! I have to mention to Apple
The poor reviews here are amusing. Treat the wait staff like human beings and you will be treated like family, which is not a bad deal. If you care about what you consume, whether that is food, drink, or conversation this is the place for you. The people who work here are intelligent, passionate, an
If I was able I would eat here every day for the rest of my trip to DC. I had the scallops and risotto tonight. Hands down, this was the best risotto I have ever had in my life. It was perfectly tender, creamy, flavorful...awesome. The scallops were also perfectly prepared. We finished with the crem
My wife and I stopped in during our visit to DC for a quick lunch. The crab cake sandwich and burger we fantastic. Service was good. Nice William Wegman photos know the wall.
Fantastic food. Staff is excellent. Wine list quite sxtensive for smaller restuarant. The chocolate souffle is a very nice ending. Don't miss this wonderful dining experience.
A lovely boutique restaurant with a superb restaurateur (Carlo!). Attracts an eclectic crowd and serves a variety of dishes including a fabulous roasted black bean quinoa bowl (healthy, plant based) paired with wonderful wine.
Food was very good. Service seemed a bit slow at times for our group of 8. Medium rare burger was served medium well. Shrimp and grits were excellent.
