Great bagel! Ordered the everything bagel, toasted, with chive cream cheese and there was plenty of cream cheese on it :) They have loads of options for flavors and toppings and even make breakfast sandwiches. Their coffee comes out of a self-service machine on the side of the main room but it was decent. I would highly recommend this place!

PROS: Bagels are big & high quality, workers are friendly, space is open (nice when waiting for your order # to be called), location is ideal, lots of sandwich options (condiments, toppings etc), array of bottled drinks and fountain drink machine. NEUTRAL: —Wait time for basic bagels (15 minutes for 4 sliced, but un-toasted bagels, only one with cream cheese). The line was deceptively short! Only waited 3 minutes to give my order, but 15 more to hear my order # called. —Pricing - $1.50 for a bagel, plus $3.60 to add cream cheese, $2.50 to add butter, $2 to add bacon. They load the cream cheese on, though! And bagels are giant. CONS —very limited options by late morning. I went Saturday at 11 AM, and around half of the bagels were gone. No everything, whole wheat everything, plain, pumpernickel, and 6 other types, with 3 hours left before they close. I expected a wait for fresh everything bagels to be made, but I was surprised (along with the two customers ahead of me) to hear the cashier say they were out for the day. Of course, there is a rush of early birds in bagel shops, so this might be expected. —wait time for speciality bagels (I.e egg, bacon, sandwiches seemed long. People were there before me and there after I left (about 20 mins total) for heated items

Every bakery seems to have its own version of what a bagel should look and taste like. I think Bethesda Bagels are among the best. They're larger than average, with generous toppings and crispy on the outside and nice and soft inside. Perfect with a schmear of any flavor cream cheese.

Offers big yummy bagels with generous fillings, but unfortunately also offers indifferent customer service and an atmosphere in need of better cleaning and overflowing trash receptacles.

Wow! Got a bagel and coffee here while in town for work. Fast, efficient service. The bagel was huge - got salmon with cream cheese - and tasted great. Coffee was surprisingly good as well. The bagel alone filled me up. I definitely would go here frequently if I was local. Also, they have incredible looking donuts as well. Wish my stomach were bigger so I could have tried them.

My everything bagel with cream cheese and lox was delicious. There was a little extra cream cheese but I’d rather have too much than not enough so no complaints!

Delicious bagels hit the spot. We walked to this location from our hotel and were pleasantly surprised to find it so busy. Apparently plenty of people agree that the bagels are delicious. Service was fast and the cream cheese applied very generously. The bagels were tasty—we didn’t try any of the sandwiches. A large selection of drinks were also available. We’ll definitely be bask the next time we’re in the area.

This was a great way to start my day. They have great bagels. I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich. I was able to customize it some what too. They also had some fresh fruit available and a good selection of drinks. Its pretty small in there so seating is super limited. Definitely a carry out spot.

It was packed when we walked in so we KNEW it must be good. Staff was great and were super efficient with everything! I got a ham, egg, and cheese on a garlic bagel with chive cream cheese and it was amazing! Will definitely be stopping next time I go to DC.

Stopped by in our way to University for breakfast on Sunday day. Kind of busy. Very popular. Small stand to eat, it is for to go mostly. Big big bagels.

Really great bagel sandwich - huge portion and very cheesey (how I like it). The line is usually out the door but it moves pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly. Limited seating inside so best to get it to go.

Due to my loathing of the feathered demons I enjoy eating turkey for all meals. This croissant hit the spot and the tasty morsels helped soothe the traumas of my childhood. 8/10 for the sandwich and 10/10 for helping there to be one less gobbling blight running around.

If just they had a larger place with real seating I would’ve given 5 stars. The line was really big but like others say it moves pretty fast. I got an olive cc bagel with vegetables. It was really big. They give a good bang for the buck. I was surprised at how heavy my bag was. My girlfriend got a tuna bagel and she “liked it”. I needed a place to eat because they don’t have seating, so we went to Starbucks at the corner of R and Connecticut and bought coffee there and ate our bagels. This is my only complaint. It’s nice that when eating an enormous bagel that needs plenty of napkins to keep clean, that you have some place to eat and wipe your face. Overall, excellent bagels but I’m still kinda partial to goldbergs bagels in baltimore.

We had breakfast or lunch there three times in eight days. Love their flagels ( flat bagels)

I've been searching for a proper new York bagel for 5 years. I'm so happy to have found this place. They know how to do a bagel right.

Delicious!!! Has a couple benches for eating at. Friendly guys, good prices, and I’m very happy. I loved the two bagels and spreads I ordered. I want to try more.
