We went here for Mother's Day brunch and it was a mixed experience. The food was good, the service just so-so, especially the sour attitude by a young hostess. I did the prix fixe. For my starter, I chose a vegetarian quesadilla which had some delicious roasted vegetables. For my main, I had their
It was a nice spot. Beautiful and comfortable space. The food it's very good and it was more than I expected, the portions are super good! The prices are excellent too, this place is always crowed so, if you need a reservation do it! Each account has added 20% of the service. The waiters are bili
I really liked this place and the friendly staff. The ambiance: Very nice setting and decor…great for a date night, friends dinner and Conversation, or just a happy hour meet up. Food: Very tasty and good portions. We had the Tlayuda which is Lamb Chorizo, eggplant, sweet potato, queso Oaxaca on top
Definitely need to go back and try more of the menu. The bar service was top notch. I had the Pollo Asado half chicken. A large portion, it was bigger than I needed but I ate it all anyway. It was perfectly cooked, very moist, not overcooked at all. The mole had kick to it. I also tried the old fa
Came here for the $25 3-course brunch deal. The waffle is an extra $4 & the churro an extra $2 and if you want a drink that’s an extra amount 😅 So total may come to $40-50 for the brunch deal 😶 (per person) In all we had no complaints it was good, just check the menu before you go to make sure you
Bittersweet night at Espita tonight—we popped in for a couple cocktails and dinner to find out they’re closing and this is the last night. They’ll be reopening as a different concept in late August. Thankfully we can still order Ghostburgers via delivery but we will miss this reliable and pleasurabl
Had a fantastic experience here. Service gave us excellent recommendations on both the food and drinks. Mezcal Margarita was deliciously spicy and smoky. Had the fluke tacos to share; highly recommended! Also, the churros are 👌👌👌. Would come back here any time, and will recommend to anyone lookin
What a tasty brunch! Authentic dishes made fresh, and I'd have to say the best Mexican cuisine I've had in the DC area. My boyfriend was really impressed with the mezcal. We sat outside and thank goodness there are misters lining the outdoor rooftop. Just enough mist to cool us! We can't wait to c
In these tough covid times the responsibility of seating comes down even harder on the host/ess. Though this place was very busy, the host treated us with a warm professional manner, and we received exceptional service from her this Saturday. The food is great quality, and the brunch is great value
Very tasty brunch. Was able to walk in and get a table for 4 with no problem at noon on a saturday. Good brunch drink options, and a nice (but limited) menu that includes juevos rancheros, tacos, and a waffle with fried chicken. The guac with maryland crab was delicious and good to share as an app.
Delicious food and cocktails! For the less adventurous culinary-wise, there's a burger menu too. Don't miss the vegetarian taco which is (IMO) the best taco on the menu.
Fantastic food. Menus are simple and delicious, their ingredients are fresh, fries are seasoned and crunchy (you know you care about it) and damn, that Philly cheese steak. . . So good. They're open during the day, don't let the window tint fool you. Showing you a photo of what we ate, I promise it
The pork shank was really good. The menu was correct that it served two. Four small tortillas seemed lacking but the server was happy to bring more. The brussel sprouts delicious.
Haven’t had such good food in a long time! We basically had everything vegetarian from the menu. The red salsa was awesome as well as the cauliflower tacos and quesadillas. Not the standard Mexican food you can get at every chipotle but really good composed dishes with amazing tastes. Although it is
Fun Mexican bar/tapas style restaurant. Not too much of a beer selection, but they have an interesting subtle pineapple beer you should try. They have several choices of salsa to try. Easy access from the metro. Photos as of october 2018.
I absolutely loved this place. I can tell you this is truly authentic modern Mexican food. I'm from Mexico city and I felt like I was at a restaurant there. Great selection of mezcal and the horchata is fantastic (be sure to order one / skip the rum). It gets busy so be sure to book at table in adva
Stopped by after a late night in the office just missed the main menu cut off time also hadn't eaten all day! The bartender said try all the tacos on the late night menu if you don't like any of them I'll take care of it. Challenge excepted!! They were all delicious, traditional corn tortillas base
