I recently had an amazing experience at Bonchon in Washington DC. I decided to start off with their onion rings, which were served hot and fresh and were absolutely delicious. I also ordered their spicy wings, and the waitress kindly informed me that they were indeed very spicy. Despite the heat, I thoroughly enjoyed the wings and found them to be incredibly flavorful. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Bonchon when I return to DC.

Really good food and great service.
The folks at the restaurant were very welcoming and attentive to the table needs; never ran low on water.
The restaurant allows you to order online and have food delivered to your table. It's very simple to add more food or drinks to your tab. However if you're technology adverse, you can speak with the staff who are a moment away.
The bulgogi fries were crisp and crunchy, the meat was well stewed and there was plenty of sauce. Very satisfying. The korean tacos were very full and would've been enough on its own.
I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent at the restaurant and would go back again. I can heartily recommend this location to any of my friends coming through the DC area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bonchon Navy Yard, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel welcome.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the mouthwatering food that Bonchon has to offer. Their signature Korean fried chicken is simply outstanding. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. The flavors were incredible, with just the right amount of spice and a touch of sweetness. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving for more.
The menu at Bonchon is diverse, offering a variety of options to cater to different tastes. Aside from the irresistible fried chicken, they also serve delicious Korean-inspired dishes like bibimbap, bulgogi, and kimchi. The portions were generous, and the presentation of the food was visually appealing.
Overall, I highly recommend Bonchon to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of incredible flavors, friendly service, and inviting ambiance creates a memorable and satisfying visit. Bonchon has undoubtedly become my go-to place for Korean fried chicken, and I look forward to returning soon for another delicious meal.

Omg I love this place! It is not your typical Bonchon at the mall, but Bonchon with a bar and delicious drinks. I went to many Bonchon in different countries and this one is definitely the best one. I’m not exaggerated tho, but this place is the place for gathering and for delicious Korean fried chicken. Also, the chickens are bigger than you think.

The food was really good. We went on a trivia night which was fun. You can order from your phone, but any tips left when you pay do not go to the waitress so be sure to tip them separately. There might be a little bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it.

Ordered in. Food took about an hour. Fried items were still crunchy. But the items are expensive!

If you haven’t heard of Bonchon… well today’s the day. Their are Korean fried wings are amazing, personally I like the spicy wings. We usually get a family style portion which is good for 6 servings. I’ll be honest I’ve never actually eating at the location in Navy Yard before but their delivery services exceptional. Their French Fries are extras crispy.

Korean fried chicken consistently prepared at its best. The ordering to go and pick up is really easy although I have dined inside as well (they have a nice stocked bar).
The spicy is really spiced up and are a fan favorite!
Customer service is typically really good and I would recommend

If you like spicy food this is the spot. The fried pork belly...chef's kiss. And the service was quick.

This place is crunch heaven! The Korean fried chicken is *awesome*!! Mega crunchy, but still light and tender (won’t cut up your mouth). The spicy sauce (pictured - sorry started eating before I remembered to take a photo) is just the right balance of fire and sweetness. The ginger soy wings are tasty too. Onion rings were great! This place is perfect for pre-game, post-game, or hangovers! Staff was very friendly and attentive too.

A great place for happy hour and wings.
We started off with fried shrimp and edamame, both of which were great starters for sharing. We then ordered three plates of chicken wings, both regular and spicy wings (the spicy ones were very mild and could’ve been kicked up a notch).
As for drinks, the peach Soon Hari soju really paired well with the food and was easy to drink.

Great wings and drums. No hostess or waiters is kind of weird, only reason it’s not 5 stars. Order on your phone and wait for someone to appear. The servers are great. Maybe would be nice if we have to order online to have an online tracker for your order instead of just waiting and wondering.

Live in the area and hadn’t yet been so tried it Friday night. It wasn’t busy but sat at the bar. The wings -half and half on sauce- were very nicely cooked. The bulgogi was also good and fresh though I’d have liked a bit more sauce for the rice. App ordering isn’t my favorite but it was easy- though if you order a second round of things it’s a new charge and not one tab to close out. The staff was great and HH until 7 (limited choices but $5 for kirin and red/white wine)

First time in DC and the waitress was awesome. Great recommendation for a first time here in DC. The Bulgogi bowl and Cirspy strip chicken were delicious. Lucky me that the DC UNITED where here and offered me a free Heineken. Definitely recommend for other people and many thanks to the staffs and workers.

This location was very nice. I wasn’t expecting a big restaurant with a bar. This location has happy hour specials and it wasn’t crowded. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was good but the rice bowl with soy chicken wasn’t tasty. It’s come out very hot and I actually had to take it home and try it. Edible but I wouldn’t buy it again.
