The food is not bad, but you are really paying for the servants the atmosphere... and it will be very expensive. Don't get me wrong, the food is ok. But only go here If you are looking for a clam, relaxing place where they will treat you well. If you want the best food - go elsewhere. $60 for my breakfast (pictured).

Very good Brunch at the Jefferson Hotel! Service was very curated and on point. Good selection of wines and excellent juice. We came looking for the lemon ricotta pancakes and they are gone. Banana pancakes (without horrid chocolate, please) were fantastic. The non meat Croque Monsieur was absolutely delish. Mushrooms and burnt cheese galore. The best I’ve ever had anywhere (including in Paris). The lobster Benedict; so, so. Not bad, not great. My fries were weird. Some were crunchy and others were dry and bland. As if two batches had been mixed. Left the whole serving practically untouched and no question from the server as to why. I did say we were very full though. Still. Ordered two glasses of Far Niente that came already poured (nope!) and the bill stated a different wine name. Confusing. The pancakes and the Croque Monsieur were so delicious…so was the grapefruit juice; so fresh I’ll give them a solid 4 stars. They should be a five at this price point and especially when they are not that busy. Next time.

Everything tasted amazing! My favorite was the Eggs Benedict (so much so that I didn’t get a picture before eating!). The ambiance was perfect for lunch, and they had lots of lovely food and drink options. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the tea I ordered. It came in a small teapot with only one tea bag, so it tasted super watery- disappointing for a $7 cup of tea. Of course it poured more than one cup, but not worth the taste sacrifice for the price. Aside from that, wonderful experience.

The atmosphere here is almost > than the meal. Flawless setting, light, decor, mood - a feast for the eyes. The food might be a bit more spotty. I was sad to see that the lemon ricotta pancakes were no longer on the menu - they were unforgettable. I tried the lobster eggs Benedict on my last visit and it was only okay - definitely not worth the hype or the price. Will keep returning in hopes of finding pancakes. Worth noting also that the service is extremely gracious.

Stopped by for a quick lunch with my mom. We were welcomed and seated well + it was nice that they provided small stools so we can put down our handbags there. Nice place and food was great. I might have ran over the lunch hour but no one rushed us to finish our time. I will come back again for dinner menu. :)

The Greenhouse is absolutely beautiful. It’s very aesthetically pleasing and elegant. I ordered the omelette with chicken sausage and it was pretty good. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive. The menu is quite pricey which is to be expected because of the ambiance. Overall I enjoyed my brunch here and I would probably return in the near future!

I enjoyed dinner here during my birthday vacation. Service and the meal completely exceeded my expectations, everything was prepared excellently and you can taste the executive chef's passion in every dish served and the service staff's commitment in providing you with a good experience is made obvious. The sommelier went above and beyond during my meal to make sure I was enjoying everything beyond the bottle of wine he opened for me.

The food is great, but the experience is what wow’d me the most! Wonderful ambiance, very cozy and not pretentious, and they give you a tiny upholstered foot stool for your purse!! We had tons of fun.

Elegant experience, tasty food. Went in for brunch and place is 1) more beautiful than expected and 2) cheaper than expected. Great pick if you want to go have a nice talk + meal in somewhere iconic, fancy and affordable. Highly recommended that you reserve beforehand.

Love coming to The Greenhouse for brunch. It is one of my favorite spots in D.C. and I highly recommend. The interior is filled with natural light and beautiful plants with fountains. The food is great and overall a nice time!
