Char Bar - Washington DC - Photo album

Stopped here during our visit to DC and we tried the onion rings, I got Steve’s steak sub and my husband got the brisket nachos. Everything was amazing! The taste the service. I would definitely recommend this place. Especially to anyone looking to eat kosher, as it can be hard to find places like t
Since I started keeping kosher, it's been hard finding places to eat out. I was delighted to stop by Char Bar while in DC and a little sad it's so far from my usual haunts. Brisket sandwich was delicious and the service was quick and friendly.
#1 Glatt Kosher Meat Restaurant to go when in the heart of DC.Just Off off K street and 2 minutes from the White House and the Monument, this excellent Grill House will pamper you, your family and friends - even the kids will have a delicious time. Super Fast Kitchen with excellent service brings to y
Heartily enjoyed the nachos. Highly recommend. We shared a western burger, flavors were rich; burger was juicy and perfectly cooked. Had a nice chat with the owner. Lovely experience highly recommend. Would come back
I had the Matzo ball soup, french fries, and iced tea. The meal was good, except the soup only had one ball. The soup would have been better if it had two balls. One piece of chicken had a small bone which was unexpected. The service was good, but only 4-5 tables were occupied in the whole place
Incredible service on what was surely one of their busiest days on record (Israel Rally). All of our pre-ordered food was already set out for us in their private dinning room. Could not have asked for better service or timing!
This is a kosher restaurant, with dietary laws and restrictions observed. If you want a milkshake with your pastrami sandwich, you'll have to go somewhere else. Same for pulled, or any other kind of pork. A little expensive, but the New Yorker sandwich I had was very good.
Straight up 5 Stars!! They stop seating guests at 8:00. We got there at 8:05. They took us right in. The food came very fast!! Everything was so good!!! Especially the BBQ Brisket Nachos!!! Worth driving in from Baltimore for those!!! We were VERY satisfied with every aspect of our visit and will be
The food is always delicious. The service is average, but the employees are very nice. Short staffed. I would give it a 4.5 stars if I could.
Very pleasant experience! It was impressively busy, though, I got brought over to a table immediately. Great service, good food and generous portions. There is absolutely nothing holding me back from going again!! I look forward to recommending it to all I know visiting the DC area.
Delicious food and fast service.definitely highly recommend!! It was so nice to find a Glatt kosher Restaurant with a Mashiach Temidy While I had a 5 hour stop over in the airport. I ordered in a burger and took for the flight a pulled brisket and they were both amazingly delicious!!!
Absolutely fantastic kosher food. The steak was just unbelievable, the burger was probably the best burger I've ever had outside of Israel. Really grateful that Washington has such incredible kosher food.
Very nice kosher establishment. I received excellent service from the waitress and the food was served very promptly. It is reasonably priced for a kosher restaurant with solid quality of food and a nice presentation. If in DC and looking for kosher food, it is worth a try.
I went here for lunch on a whim with a family member that just started working near me. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is medium sized, with a full bar and a family feeling. We were met at the door and seated quickly. I opted for the soup of the day, which was a chicken l
