We dined here on Thanksgiving and Camila was such a warm and friendly server. The entire staff was excellent and really took care of us even though they were working on a holiday. Our kids are vegetarian and it was the best vegan ramen they ever had. Wish they had locations in New York.
Camila was an amazing member of the wait staff who attended to our every need! She brought the best table service: kind, attentive, easy to contact and very great energy. In my ex-front of house experience, it can be hard to maintain enthusiasm in such a crowded restaurant (it was a Friday night and busy) however Camila showed me that it is indeed possible. Sending much love to y'alls very well trained staff. Food was amazing as well!
Food: Spicy chicken ramen (I asked them to add chicken wantons to it); Crispy chicken; Crispy rice with spicy tuna; Shrimp spring rolls
Ambiance: Casual & busy
Parking: Street meter parking is available
Pricing: Fair
Food (flavors): I LOVED the crispy rice with spicy tuna; the flavor combination was balanced and the rice didn’t fall apart as I bit into it. The spring rolls were pretty standard; I didn’t taste any unique flavors. The chicken was fried well but I think the flavor came from the sauce that came with it. The ramen was great and definite had a kick to it! It was nice seeing numerous non-pork flavored ramen options on the menu.
Portion size: Medium-large

Appropriately-paced, comfortable service! Carlos at the bar was fantastic, helped pick a Japanese whisky that was just right. When taking food orders, he was consistent about asking after dietary allergies or restrictions. The pork cachu bowl was beautiful to look at and more so to eat.
Amazing ramen!! Found Jinya on a business trip to DC. Flavorful broth, not too salty, perfect noodle texture and spicy level to order. The specialty cocktail drinks are refreshing. Daniel, our server was the best!!
Amazing drinks and food from start to finish. Carlos is a great bartender too! Attentive without hovering (like some bartenders elsewhere like to do), personable, friendly, and quick with a drink.
Spicy tuna crispy rice is perfection!
Absolutely delicious! Hadn’t been to a Jinya since I went in Dallas a long time ago and so glad I got to go again. About a 15 min walk from my brother’s apartment and it was perfect on a crisp evening like tonight. The red sake sangria was a great way to start my meal. We split the crispy rice which was delicious, though I would prefer the rice slightly crispier, but still amazing! Both ramens we ordered, tonkoksu black and the tonkotsu original, were incredible. Highly recommend and would definitely go back!
Had their chef special karaage ramen and Shrimp Spring Roll along with tongkutsu, spicy creamy shrimp. Each dish did not disappoint. Was around DC for a conference and had a craving of ramen at the end of the day. This place is a must visit for a deeply satisfying experience. Our service was attentive and has a positive attitude even if it was rush hour.
If you like margaritas, try their classic margarita. It was so good, only if I could have one more drink but I had another conference to attend the next day 😂
Will def visit again when back in town.
Jinya is delicious. The spicy chicken ramen had a lot of flavor and the chicken was not hard and rubbery but soft and tender- full of flavor. Husband got the black Tonkatsu and enjoyed it as well- the broths here are very good. Carlos was our server and he was very attentive and had excellent customer service!
Came here with a friend on a Friday night around 8, it was about a 15-20 min wait. Well worth it though, the ramen was great!! We got the tonkotsu original and spicy, both delectable. The egg was especially a highlight, extremely delicious flavor. Our waiter, Keith, was quite friendly and helped us with our choice. My only complaint was it was quite loud but what else can you expect on a Friday night. I'll definitely be coming here again for more!!
