Great service by Mr TJ and great food! The staff were on top of getting plates off tables and refilling drinks. The bar also were quick on drinks even with the whole patio being very busy ( I sat in the patio). Overall it was a great experience! Thank you for that :)

Very friendly staff and great food at a decent price. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the area transit and assisted us with precise directions. Not to mention the most awesome mustache.
Cruising up Connecticut Ave after a day of sightseeing, hoping to find a good place to stop for an early dinner and we hit the jackpot! Crab cake sandwich, fried oysters, animal style fries, and a good craft beer selection to wash it all down!
Amazing food! I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! The staff was friendly and talked to us about the area since we were visiting from out of state. What a great place!!!
Great service and great food! We enjoyed the duck confit nachos, burgers, BBQ, and beer selection. TJ and Richard made us feel right at home with great service and hospitality. Definitely recommend stopping when you are in the area!!

Great service and super good vibe. The chili was soooooooo good you must try. I also had the southwest chicken sandwich and it was just as tasty as the chili. They also have a great secretion of beer and cocktails. Nice outdoor sitting to if you don’t want to sit inside. Will come back.
Great spot for happy hour on their patio. Stopped by after a trip to the zoo for beer and an app. All good and the staff was great. Lots of really good daily specials. Saturday was $5 Atlas beers. Perfect location to rest after an afternoon at the zoo. Close to the metro. Great patio.
Perfect neighborhood bar. Service, drinks, and food are all good. Hummus, chicken wings, shrimp tacos, fries... all delicious.
Thoroughly enjoyed Bridgette's service and attitude. She was quick, happy, and friendly. Very good local craft beer selection, at reasonable prices. (Only not marking atmosphere perfect 'cuz a group of young local frat boys sat next to us and yelled loudly about how awesome they were, for a solid hour, but your mileage may vary, otherwise it was great.)
Great bar/ restaurant in the zoo area. Lots of local craft beer, reasonable prices and decent vegetarian options. I came here 2 days in a row and was greeted immediately, given water and a menu without asking. The service is great and there are a ton of TVs. They have outside seating and gender neutral restrooms as well. Will definitely be a spot I come back to when in DC!
If you want to see a game, eat great wings (1/2 price on sunday's) and cold beer. Here's the place. Low-key, the server was amazing and super friendly.

Came here for a quick lunch. Great grilled chicken sandwich. Excellent flavor. The bacon complimented it well. The brioche bun was perfection. Got the side salad with vinegrette. Cleaned the plate. Excellent sandwich.
The servers were great and super kid-friendly. Interesting menu, great food, and very reasonable prices. It was a great part of our trip.

my daughter and i spent all morning hoofing it around the zoo and we were more than starving. we looked through all the restaurants up and down connecticut ave and although i wanted another place, my daughter wanted to try mcintyre's. so we went in. and i'm SO glad we did.
the food was AWESOME. i had the fish and chips and she had the bbq burger. and we cleaned our plates. i'm not even kidding. they were spotless, even though there was so much food (she's VERY picky and i'd never seen her eat everything). the bbq was subtly sweet and very tender and the burger fixings looked like they'd been picked from a garden out back and then chilled while they made the fries. and the fries... omg. mcdonald's has NOTHING on these fries. and my fish was the best... fried golden brown and a fresh lemon slice and tangy tartar sauce.
and as soon as our drinks were empty, they came over and made us new ones. they didn't take our cups away and refill them, they MADE her coke and my lemonade in front of our eyes. and it was the sweetest coke and most awesomest lemonade ever. and the prices... VERY reasonable and fair.
and if we hadn't had plans to eat that night or the following day, we'd have gone back.
but i know this for sure, when we go back next year, mcintyre's is a priority.
go in and order something. it's the best food, at the best price, you'll have while you're there.
