Amazing place and great and healthy food! I strongly recommend!
Best drip coffee and cafe Latte’s I’ve ever had! Love that it’s so close to my job so I can run in and grab coffee during my shift. Gluten free banana bread dish and was delicious.
This is my favorite place in the WORLD to have breakfast or coffee! Yummmmm!! Thanks for the awesome service
Bright and comfortable spot to relax with a smooth cuppa and yummy food. Great service!
The staff is above reproach on the costumer service ...I met the owner going there my first time and dude approached me with a firm shake nothing phony all Gucci...good mate !
I had breakfast here before it got busy, however my order took about 30-40 minutes, I ordered the gluten-free banana bread toast with ricotta cheese and fruit, it was just okay, it looks way better than it tasted.
I later ordered some take out online and the order was delayed, partly my fault for scanning the table QR, but when I asked someone to check it they said it was coming out, after a half hour I inquired again and the order was not processed.
I don't think I'd go back, if you do go be sure to inquire about your order if it hasn't come out after 15 minutes.
One positive about this place the COFFEE is excellent!!
The food was delicious, with so many unique options! Gluten free and vegetarian options available with modification. They even have a vegan chicken! 5 stars for Arnav the bartender who made our delicious matcha and golden drinks. There are so many great drink options! I love that the default milk is almond milk - great for us plant based people! Overall a great experience with delicious, picture worthy-food.
Excellent spot for innovative breakfast choices in the West End. Fast and friendly service and gorgeous glass walls make for great people-watching.
matcha latte and beet latte were a nice refreshing drink, although they don’t look all too pretty in terms of color. that being said, $7 pre-tip for a latte makes me yell inside
review #2 (food): very popular brunch spot, australian style, which is rare in DC (i prefer australian to american brunch). a lot of avocado and egg-based items.
nice atmosphere with large windows that let in a lot of natural light, but it can be loud, especially on the weekend on a sunny day.
they try their best to get to you but because it's so busy, sometimes you have to go up to the waiters to catch their attention. they allowed me to customize the spicy chicken wrap as a bowl instead. it took about 20 minutes from order to food arrival.
food was delicious and actually quite filling. the drinks are expensive, though, so it can easily add up to $30 per person. if you don't get a drink, then expect to pay around $20-25.
This is one of the few brunches I’ve had and thought “this is better than anything I would’ve made at home!” Most of the menu options are clean and healthy yet full of variety.
If you come with a group, I recommend everyone gets their own dish, then order the banana bread for the table (this is what we did). Everything was amaaazing and beautiful, with plenty of options for the gluten-free/vegetarian people.
Definitely make a reservation in advance if you plan to come during the weekend. Otherwise, wait time can be around 1 hr.
the food was good i got the chili avocado toast with bacon and i enjoyed it. the coffee was not the best tbh. kinda overpriced but it’s DC so it’s kinda expected. my server was really inviting and super chill i felt welcome and he made a good recommendation, and even gave me a complimentary almond croissant that was one of the best croissants i’ve had, so i definitely recommend trying one of those.
We stopped at around 3 pm so the cafe was pretty empty. We only wanted coffee and I didn’t realize it was all sit down type of restaurant. It turned out to be very nice. Lattes were delicious and served in cute blue mugs. Service was great. The only problem is since it was near closing, they were cleaning the place and it smelled like strong chemical.

This place is amazing! The service and the atmosphere are great, just next to a cute library. Food looks delicious and from Friday to Sunday they have Aperol Spritz and Mimosa for 5$. Absolutely recommended!! Will come back very, very soon!! Thank you guys!
Came here for lunch, had a great experience! Food was really good too. I had the best mates bowl and would definitely recommend it. Filling for lunch!
Came back a week later. Service style isn’t super clear but we were able to get sat and served fast enough. Food options are great. Several messy tables around us at the time we arrived was a little strange, though.
The folded chimichurri eggs and bacon were fine but didn't override the slow, inattentive service. I went to dine in for breakfast and waited several minutes to be acknowledged, just to be told to sit wherever. It wasn't very busy but there was a long wait to order, my latte came out way after my food, and I had to wait a while to catch the server's attention to ask for my check.
I had a nice lunch and latte here. The lunch was the warm chicken and ancient grain bowl that was very good. It came with lentils, onion, Brussel sprouts, spinach, tomatoes, feta cheese, spicy chicken and a poached egg. Mixed together it was very flavorful. The latte was a simple latte with oat milk. If you like flavored latte the only flavor they have is vanilla. It’s a very modern, industrial setting. Good find.
Very delicious place to eat, work, and study!
The environment is very well design. The decor is amazing. The food, phenomenal.
The food tasted so well I can’t describe it. Everything was full of flavor. I’ve never tasted a banana bread like this. It literally melted my face!
The chicken wrap tasted very good. The kale was crunchy, and the yogurt gave it a unique taste that made it more enjoyable.
To wash it all down, an iced shake. Talk about a great way to end it all. I would go back just for this on a hot day.
The words aren’t enough to express, but I highly recommend coming to this place. I know I will definitely be back!
Food was PHENOMENAL!! I had a delicious breakfast, one of the best in DC by far. As a native New Yorker I feel as if this rivals any popular cafe chain. Service was impeccable. Quick, clean and beyond accommodating. My server was grace and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and beyond accommodating. I will definitely be back, especially if grace is there!
Wonderful place to sit outside (when it's not too hot and muggy). Coffee is 4 stars, but coffee art is 5 stars!
This place is amazing. Really enjoyed the experience and getting to try this flavorful dish. The latte and flat white are awesome too. Should try if you’re around the area! You order everything on your own through a QR code which makes it easier too.
P.s. I put the avocado smash on the toast, so don’t mind the mess!
Great café!
The coffee was so yummy. I ordered the flat white. ☕️
I loved the atmosphere and music. The place has big windows all around, sitting in the sunlight during lunchtime is amazing.
They require your vaccine card if you are dining in.
My brother first introduced me to Bluestone Lane in NYC many years ago so I was thrilled to see that they had locations in DC!
First of all, their cold brew is incredible. I loved it so much that I wished I could get a gallon to take home with me (I live half way across the country where there are no locations).
As I was savoring my cold brew, I ordered the Breakfast Bowl. Everything about it was perfect.
To top it off, the people working there were so nice! The atmosphere is great too— inside and out. They have a lovely patio but it was too hot the day when I was there so I dined inside, which was also lovely.
Had a delicious Soft Chili scramble and a beautiful oat latte! Staff was so friendly and attentive! The manager with the great hair was really helpful with recommendations and really patient during their busy hours. I will definitely be coming back after today!
