Fat Pete's Bbq - Washington DC - Photo album

Had lunch without five kids and brother after a trip to the zoo. It was amazing—great and friendly service and such delicious food! Food Highlights were the pork belly and the collard greens. The bartender also put Bluey on the tv for our kids!
I Loved this place. The platters are a decent price, the draught beers and mixdd drinks are on point. The service was outstanding and friendly. The owner treated everybody as if they were family or good friends. If you live in DC, make this a regular spot. If you come to visit and you want some
Brisket sandwich was authentic Texas BBQ, tender and well rubbed with spices. Hot BBQ sauce was good. Sides of fries and hush puppies were good. Service and atmosphere was good and exactly what you would want from an East Coast Texas BBQ joint.
For DC this is four star Texas style bbq. Anywhere else three stars. The meat has flavor which is good, the problem is the way it is cooked and what is served. The person who packed our order really messed things up too. The bbq sauce caps were not put on and it soaked the bag and made a mess. T
I had a bulk order of 40 platters and everything came out perfect. They went above and beyond and packaged them individually as I was delivering to several families for Thanksgiving. PJ even helped me carry the orders to my car! excellent customer service.
We met Skinny Pete and Little Fat Pete. Very friendly guys. Walked in and greeted right away. Customer quick and fast. Food was good and plenty of food. Great price for the amount of food.
First time here, left with an overall good impression. Good food and attentive staffs. I do recommend the double smoked pork belly bites, a good appetizer to prepare your palate for what’s to come. I got half rack of the baby back ribs, it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it’s pretty good. The mea
Fat Pete is a whisky encyclopedia. Seriously you come here for the BBQ (which is itself pretty good especially for DC) but you stay for this man's sage-like knowledge of all things whisky, bourbon, scotch, blends, etc. We had so much fun getting Pete's recommendations, trying samples, and just indul
Very subtle place. Clean design and easy access, near the national zoo. Food is solid for a bbq place. For me I had the brisket melt sandwich with a side of hush puppies and a house salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The brisket was soft and tender, being a southerner, it was missing some more
This was my second visit and I again was happy with my food choice. It was delicious.
Atmosphere and Ambiance is neat, comfortable and has the typical american bar style. The restaurant appears super clean. Servers are pleasant and communicative. And most importantly the food is nicely presented, taste was great, all to a good price point. I can highly recommend the 3 meat platter. T
Very nice place for BBQ 🍗🍖. A bit dark for me during rhe day. A full wall of TVs ( baseball, indy car , English’s premiere league) on the walls. Wide range of beers and even choice for wines 🍷. Waiter pleasant and checking everythig was ok. Parking not so easy 🅿️. Need to say i do not know well the
We hired Fat Pete's BBQ as our wedding caterer, and you guys... let me tell you HOW MANY COMPLIMENTS WE GOT!! Everyone was gushing about how good our food was, the staff of Fat Pete's was AMAZING - extra special shout out to PJ and Woody, both of whom we could not have succeeded without. They also b
