Patisserie Poupon - Washington DC - Photo album

What a wonderful find on a beautiful Georgetown Saturday. The Patisserie Poupon offers lovely light fare and delicious libations, a perfect stop for a coffee and pastry. I was fortunate enough to find that they had live music out front to pair with my treats. The staff was welcoming and told me abo
Came 11.30 Saturday morning. Not a large selection was available. Nothing stood out as fresh. Got an almond croissant and cappuccino. Did not taste anything special. Croissant was on par with any decent grocery store bakeries. Ladies there were nice. Cute outdoor seating in the alley.
Delicious baked desserts! We ordered a caramel napoleon. Creamy vanilla and caramel layered beneath a caramel topping. If you like caramel then yes, try it! Small number of tables inside but a good number of tables outside back and front. They also serve illy coffee drinks and have a selection of
This was our last stop on our way out of DC and we got a huge array of savory and sweet pastries. The ham and cheese croissant was so good that we had to go back for two more. Coffee was strong and delicious.
We stopped here for lunch. The coffee was really good and the fruit tarts just delightful. We also ordered a quiche and sandwiches. Everyone was super happy with their orders. I would definitely come back! Highly recommend!
The food was good! The bread was a little harder than what I expected but still edible. The desert was perfect!! They don't have handicap entrance but they have a little parking area in the back which I'm not sure if you can really park there but I did anyways and didn't get a ticket or complain.
Best coffee, pastries, and atmosphere! The interior is so cozy and brightly lit, perfect for reading, writing, and meeting up with friends. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff was delightful. I got the strawberry cake (I ate the white chocolate dipped strawberry off the top before I re
Came across this nice little bakery on the way to Dumbarton Oaks. They have amazing cakes, croissants and pies. The fruit cheesecake was the best one ever.
The customer service was great. They were friendly, kind and packed my cakes up with care. Cakes were delicious and not overly sweet. I went for two cakes and ended up leaving with four (my own choice) lol I bought extra to share. Coffee was good too a medium to light blend.
The perfect weekend hang out. A local favorite that is perfect for sipping coffee and chatting with your old friend. You can get carried away with spending too much time as the coffee is lovely and the food is tasty. The chicken salad is light and tasty. I love the outdoor seating area in the alley
