Mission Dupont - Washington DC - Photo album

I had an enjoyable time here. This place is more of a restaurant for a weekend brunch and to come to socialize than to purely come for the food. The food was great but the environment feels more made for a weekend gathering. Where I ended up sitting with my friends and family was in a pretty crowded
Mission DuPont Circle is a great Mexican restaurant, offering classic dishes and delicious margarita pitchers. The place is a bit dirty (see picture); however, the prices are reasonable and service is quick. We had their hibiscus marg pitcher and it was great! They offer both salt and sugar rims. I’
Hosted a private event for my department holiday party and had a phenomenal time! Service was amazing, the vibes were awesome. They worked with us to host a great event and we will definitely be back!
Drove down from NYC and needed a quick, good late night bite and walked until we came to The Mission. My tacos were good, but one thing about flour tortillas, the need some kick, some seasoning combo added to them. Otherwise, they are flat next to shrimp w mangoes and seasoned chicken. The wings we
My firm hosted an ~80 person holiday event on the first floor of the space and it was such a blast! The entire team at Mission was so helpful leading up to the event to make sure we had a custom food menu catering to our interests and that the space was decorated in any way that we wanted. The space
I hosted my birthday party at Mission Dupont after hosting it at Hawthorne last year, and I am once again so impressed! They always set up the space so nicely, have attentive bartenders, and are easy to work with. I will always host my events at Mission Group!
This was our first time at Mission. The dinner burrito was great as were the fajitas. The fajitas chicken was a bit dry but overall they were good. The fajita rice was surprisingly spicy! The only item we didn't like which was not pictured were the beef Barria Tacos. The Barrias and consumé were ra
We hosted a happy hour here when our group was in town for a conference, and it was so easy to coordinate and plan. Plus there was not reservation fee like many of the other bars in the area charged. I emailed directly with Caroline who was present at the event, and helped me with all of our needs (
Great restaurant! I've been there twice now and have had a great time both times. This most recent time I was in town for a work conference and was taking out a group of 30+ people. The event coordinator, host, waiters, and servers made sure the night went perfectly, helped us book a private room, a
My workplace hosted a buffet-style dinner here recently and the restaurant did a great job accommodating a large group! Everything was delicious and the margaritas were a hit. There was a powerful odor of dead rats on the ground floor of the restaurant, however.
I used Mission as a venue for a 25-person holiday party, and they were great to work with. Communicative, accommodating and available to sort out any kinks on the day of. I wasn’t expecting the food to be any good for a large event but it ended up being great (particularly the quesadillas). It’s a g
Mission was very accommodating to my event. I especially appreciated their on the fly help at lighting my girlfriends birthday cake. In addition to that the event was super easy to set up and the space was great!
I don’t write a lot of reviews but I felt this was worth it! The queso was lovely, smooth and silky, not too spicy! We ate almost what I feel like we one of everything, either way it was so good! And the servers were kind, fast, and helpful
I reserved a room for a birthday party on Saturday and the event turned out great! The event manager, Caroline Downing, made planning the event super easy and was very helpful with any questions. The brick room was great for a birthday party, with the DJ and bar being super accessible. Definitely re
Had a super positive experience booking a large happy hour (about 20 people) here. The events manager, Caroline, was lovely to work with and responded to my email almost immediately. There's no reservation fee/down payment required and they even print out a sign for your event. The reserved area is
Mission Dupont circle was a treat! Highly recommend the wing appetizer if you like wings, these were tasty and finger linking. I also had the fajitas which were hands down the best I've had EVER. The atmosphere was jumping and fun but very loud. I think it was due to every seat being filled as it wa
In DC for vaca. Second dinner at Mission this evening. Emily, our server was excellent. Tacos were awesome and the Southwestern salad was the bomb for my wife. Atmosphere is hopping! Will definitely be back when we swing through again! Very reasonable prices!
