Decarlo's Restaurant - Washington DC - Photo album

We were absolutely happy with our upscale lunch dinning experience. We had a hard time finding the restaurant at first as it’s located inside an apartment complex (you have to get buzzed inside), but we are sure happy we did. We were able to walk-in and get a table in the beautifully decorated and s
Classic and classy. If you want a bit of elegant, old world "feel" in a serene setting, you've found the right place. This isn't a Happy Hour, rowdy-crowd kind of place. They also have a nice wine, liquor, beer selection.
A hidden spot for solid food but even better desserts in my opinion. Cocktails are great as well.
Dinner was astonishing, it was honestly amazing. The pappardelle pasta was one of my favorites, this place is most definitely a hidden gem, hope more people find it because the food here is a gold star. The costumer service is perfect, everyone is so nice and friendly. I will say it again food was A
Fabulous gem of a restaurant! It reminds me of what fine dining used to be about when I was younger. BEST fish I've had in years!
This place is tucked away in a large apartment complex but worth finding. All the food was delicious and the service was great. The owner came by our table to say hello. Friendly relaxed atmosphere in a refined ambience. They were very willing to make a veg option for one diner and lo-carb for anoth
Wonderful place for a family or celebratory dinner. I appreciated how they welcomed my children and made them feel special. Food is excellent and consistently well-prepared. I’ll be back regularly.
Located in a gorgeous 30’s building. So has beautiful ambiance . Food is mixed. My lobster salad was disappointing . I was expecting a nice crisp salad with strips and pieces of fresh moist lobster. Instead I got small round balls of “lobster “ ( cooked ?)which did not taste like lobster to me , on
Fabulous dining experience thanks to wonderful staff and warm and inviting dining room in which one can actually have a conversation with dinner companions. Outdoor terrace dining overlooking Garden and Glover-Archbold Park though terrace tables only accommodate two. Great bar and bartenders, nice m
This was a nice little surprise we found while trying to eat nearby. We were out early and they were able to seat us without a reservation (though it did full up quickly). I especially liked that they had dishes that were twists on the typical Italian (I had the delicious veal and spinach lasagna).
Fantastic fresh Italian food in an elegant setting overlooking Glover park; delicious seasonal specials daily. Try the lobster salad at lunch and the fresh fish or pasta specials at night. Caring attentive staff, good wine selection, classical music, and a sparkling setting to meet, dine, and catch
I would love for our neighborhood gem to thrive…… but the lack of internet/social/ practical media attentiveness is not helping. The food has always been delicious, making it worth a relaxed, slower paced evening. Service can be spotty, but they are well meaning & loyal (saying a lot for the owne
A place known only to DC natives where one can relax and enjoy a great meal in peace and quiet. Comfortable atmosphere, but not fancy, where you feel welcome and at home. Excellent food, and in the summer months there is an outdoor area where you may be seated. Portions are perfectly sized and fl
The food was great and the service from Omar was top knotch. It was a really welcoming environment. The owner's niece, Susie, was very sweet and made us feel as if we were friends visiting in her home. The Frutti de Mare, Vitello alla DeCarlo, and Trota alla Florentina were all amazing and the Calam
I went with a friend for lunch on Sunday in early May and it was a lovely experience. Staff is wonderful warm and welcoming the food was delicious I had eggplant parmesan and it was excellent. I dream about it I'm going to probably order it again!
DeCarlo's offers classic Italian cuisine in the Westchester dining room that perfectly complements the heritage of this Washington DC family restaurant. Brunch and dinner here have been delightful. Service has been efficient without being intrusive. Cuisine doesn't disappoint; and beverage offerings
I’m rating DeCarlo’s 4 stars. but I love this establishment dearly and am delighted by its recent move to The Westchester at 4000 Cathedral Avenue, NW, off Idaho Avenue in DC. Get to know the menu and you’ll have a 5-star experience. DeCarlo’s new Westchester location is serene, comfortable and ele
