The Gryphon - Washington DC - Photo album

Fave place to go in DC thus far for brunch. I like the new updates decor wise. I just wish the bottomless mimosas were better for $18.50 per person; that or make it $18.50 for the table. I think it's a little ridiculous for everyone to pay for bottomless mimosas and you don't get your own pitcher. M
I went for Sunday brunch and stayed for the day party. Always get a reservation! This place is packed. It's beautiful inside and most of the staff are nice. The buffet is $40 with unlimited mimosas. Expensive to me but all the food was delicious and high quality. The music is loud but good. Don't ex
Sunday brunch had great food. However, the service wasn’t great. The hostesses did not know how to control the flow or line at the door, a lot of people standing around waiting and for quite awhile before being seated. Our table server was nice, she came and explained the price, it was $50 per perso
A very nice and chill bar. The music is good but might not be what you will be expecting from that place. Drinks are fair priced. The people are awesome as well. DuPont circle in General has great bars, so if you are not comfortable at The Gryphon, go on to the next one.
I had fun but its pricey for no reason. 20 to get in and 45 for brunch (only food no mimosas) and the drinks were a little overpriced. We came a little later than our reservation and had to pay an entrance fee even tho it was a large group of us. But again, it was fun. Just come early.
Brunch buffet was great also had the bottomless mimosas. After the second pitcher I felt like they didn't want to give us a 3rd. Music was great football was on. A little on the pricey side. $127 for 2 people for brunch and bottomless mimosas.
This was a great place to have a social hour with some friends, but there was a furry meeting or something the night we were there. It was a rather large and obnoxious group of people, but wasn't the restaurant's fault. The waitress did apologize for the noise, and the service/food was good.
This was our first time here and I must say the food was pretty delicious and quite unique. We got a few different dishes to share and my favorite was the Crispy Pork Belly. We went here in Feb and I still can't stop thinking about it!! If we didn't live an hour and a half away I'd be there everyd
Great place to go out on a Saturday night. Bartender was really friendly and the drinks she made were done professionally. This place is a little pricey but the location is key next to Dupont Circle. Playlist was also pretty varied and had a good vibe.
An interesting place to come for happy hour. The space is strangely inviting but can get overly crowded and a bit grungy in the evening. The decor is very dark and could use to lighten up and utilize more outdoor fresh space in DC summers as the weather improves.
My absolute Favorite place to come to in DC. They have the BEST day parties on Sunday. Like no places can compare. If you have plans on the weekend or work no problem.. the Gryphon knows how to turn up on a Sunday and since it’s a day party you can still make it to work on Monday with no problem.
