The service was straight to the point. The atmosphere was very cozy, this is a beautiful hip restaurant. I had the japchae as an appetizer, the flavor and texture was amazing! My family had the chicken skewers for theirs and they said it was good, but they're picky so... meh. Then for my entree I had the tofu and avocado bibimbap. This dish was very colorful and fresh, but I sort of left like there was a lack of flavor. This may be because I have never had Korean before, maybe it's not for me. But overall it was a good meal, with hearty portions. I would recommend this place to a friend!

Great place for Korean food (especially bibimbap bowls). Prices are good and because we were waiting a little more the owner just gave us a free round of beer. Miso soup is also very tasty. Awesome!!

A cozy, relaxing place that you can enjoy the food after walking in the rain. The atmosphere just matches Georgetown.

Very delicious Korean cuisine. Gubboki. Very tender juicy beef slices over noodles with veggies and a side of white rice. Will return!

Service can be hit or miss. I've eaten here a half dozen times and sometimes the server is prompt, polite and attentive. Other times the server is distracted and disinterested. The food has been very good every time. The portions are more than adequate though it may not seem like it at first because the serving bowls are large. Still, I've never left hungry. Prices are fair for a short menu. Atmosphere isn't great but thermostat setting has always been comfortable in both summer heat and winter chill. Seating is limited but I've never had to wait for a table. Overall I recommend zannchi for good food at a fair price which can be hard to come by in Georgetown.

Delicious and affordable. Fried dumplings were some the best I've had, and bibimbap was super flavorful with fresh toppings and incredible fried rice crust. We got there around 7:30 on a weeknight, and were seated right away - perfect spot for a last-minute weeknight date.

The smells were amazing, and the people were friendly and helpful. I arrived a little before 6 and there was one table still available and no line. By the time my companion arrived 20 minutes later (I know, right?), there were no tables, hardly any space at the bar, and a considerable line. They got us seated at a table all the same. I had the seafood soup, which was nice but not as transcendent as some of the smells. The broth was a little subtle for me, even though I added a lot of kimchi into it. I wouldn't downgrade a place due to my poor ordering and different expectations.

Awesome Korean. Go for the stuff with fried egg and BBQ. They also give you cold Kimchi which is delicious. Its a small place which can get a tad crowded. The prices also aren't too great, even for the area, although it is a lot of food usually. Alright option for somewhat upscale but also casual dinner with friends and family.

Great Korean delicacies. Service was good too. The place is a bit small and can feel crowded very quickly. Parking is a nightmare since it's on Wisconsin Avenue Georgetown. They have a small problem with ventilation as the area of the fireplace seems to be connected to the bathroom vents so there is a smell coming out of there. I would just sit away from the fireplace

The food was as good as other Korean places that I've been too, but nothing extraordinary. Service was good and our server was very helpful and attentive to people in our group who were vegetarian or had specific allergies. Food was also prepared very quickly.

Young place with a mixed crowd of college students and couples. Food is good, my wife is Korean and she thought it was pretty good. We had the steamed Mandu, I had the Bulgogi my son had the spicy pork and we all liked our dishes. It is a bit small of a place. They have a bar and on the second floor they sell bubble tea which seems to be very popular with the students.

Have eaten here a number of times and they consistently blow me away. The food is outstanding; the decor, atmosphere, and staff are warm and inviting. During dinner, the owner of the restaurant even stopped by our table to ask if we liked our food. Especially cute place to take a date. Loved this place-highly recommend!!

Food was amazing and service from a male waiter was outstanding. However, a non Korean waitress gave me a look just because I knocked the restroom’s door when she was inside. She did not seem very kind to other customers either. Overall very good experience and there were lots of Koreans in the restaurant which is always a sign of authentic food.

Small space and decent food but I was not feeling the meatin my bimbimbap. Not the best Korean food I've had but it fills the craving. Plus it's connected to kung fu tea so you can get bubble tea while you're waiting for a seat.

Really good food, and a small selection of good beers. Skip the silken tofu with kimchi, but get the fried dumplings for sure. The classic bibimbop is comforting and delicious. For some reason they provide very small dishes of kimchi.

Food was excellent, staff was friendly, service was (mostly) quick, and prices were good. Do note that this is not a Korean bbq place where you cook your own food and get lots of condiments with the meal.
