Very cute, quiet place to get some great tasting desserts and relax. I really enjoyed my Mocha... strong and sweet! It was perfect! I also had a Key Lime Tart and a Cheese Danish! Both were amazing! The staff was friendly and very helpful with great suggestions. I will most certainly return!

Not a fan of the Americano, it’s too bitter for me, but the banana cream tart is pretty amazing! The staff is really helpful and I’m glad I’ve chosen her recommendation. The place is cute and the view by the window is great. Will def comeback some other time and try out some yummy pastries.

Pies, Cakes, Scones, Pastries, Cookies, sweet and savory Croissants! Coffee brewed to perfection. Get in here! There is pure artistry in this place! I had the Spinach and Feta Croissant with a regular coffee with cream. Nothing fancy, but it was made with care and first rate ingredients. Friendly service with a true effort at creating an efficient yet welcoming customer experience. 5 Stars.

I love Firehook! My mom used to bring me a brownie with nuts once a month on Fridays growing up. Since my son has grown up I have started the tradition and he likes the brownie fingers for him and his friends, and I have now added the morning glory muffin, carrot cake and spinach and cheese croissants to my favorites. The staff at Logan Circle and Alexandria are my favorites to visit. Please go and enjoy :-)

I’ve always wanted to come by but never had the opportunity, glad I was able to. Imagine a local café with pastries, coffee and sweet delights made with love and friendly faces. 🥰 The morning chatter ensuing from locals coming and going with greetings echoing long after overlapping with the morning hullabaloo just adds to this perfect little spot in DuPont Circle.

We found this place by accident near our hotel. We were looking for a “French bakery” and when we arrived there it was not what we wanted, so we walked to the closest one nearby and it was FireHook. The Graham Cracker latte special was absolutely amazing! We also purchased pastries to go which were delicious

I enjoyed the Linzer cookie, Za'atar croissant, and bacon quiche of the day. Really excellent pastries with unique flavors. We didn't stay to eat the pastries there because the interior felt a bit chaotic. Great for picking up things, but I'd go somewhere else if you're looking for a calm coffee date location.

We occasionally stay in the Dupont Circle area when visiting family and Firehook has quickly become our daily breakfast stop. And, I'll admit, sometimes snack stop too. Scones, muffins, brownies....all delicious. I highly recommend the cakes too. I've only tried the strawberry short cake, but imagine they're all just as fresh and yummy.

This café and bakery is an absolute gem. We stayed in Washington for a couple of days and had lite bite breakfast here each day. Friendly, obliging employees, fast and efficient service, excellent pastries and all at an unbeatable price.

Me and a couple of friends went to Firehook after a walk around DuPont. I was extremely interest in something sweet. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome. They have so many different options of pasties/cakes and more. Apparently their baguette are the talk of the town. While my friends and I were looking at their options and ordering, 2 people came in to ask for the baguette but they ran out so they left. There were lot of people inside the store so me and my friend ate outside, it was a vibe. Definitely look forward to coming back.

Firehook Bakery is often so clutch, for to-go food and coffee, and this central DuPont location always delivers. Their sandwiches are consistently very good, especially the ham and cheese croissant; and there’s only one soup of the day but it’s amazing, we had cream of broccoli. Coffee tastes like it’s from the EU and for regular drinkers is good enough without creamers. Friendly staff, delicious baked goods, and don’t forget, Breads — make Firehook Bakery a DC staple. ig: @harshaeats

So I received a dulce de leche cake for my baby's birthday via Uber Eats. It's probably one of the best cakes I've ever eaten. It was moist and who's the caramel goodness at the right portion. The cake is a little pricey at $30 for a small cake I think it was like 40 or $50 for a large cake but it's worth it. Don't need it everyday cuz you're getting fat but if you don't mind getting fat cuz you like cake you need to go to fire up get you some good cake sorry the grocery store cakes don't measure up to fire hook however you can really bake a cake that moist then start a dog on business like fire hook cuz otherwise stay the best right now.

Really yummy pastries and baked goods. This is a quaint little coffee spot and bakery. People are very friendly. Their coconut macarons are amazing. They also show the ingredients of all their baked goods which is cool.
