Ordered delivery from this restaurant today. I’ve been wanting to try there dishes after buying their hummus from Whole Foods (I recommend all three of their flavors). The online ordering was simple and easy. About 30-45mins later, my lunch meal approached. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Bowl and a side of Cucumber Salad. Everything was packed well and still warm. I immediately dig in. It was all really tasty. Can’t wait to head in-store next time when I get the opportunity

Went here cause I wanted to try something local. The salad was around $13 and the shawarma bowl was $13.90. It was delicious, only Cons are that there was a hair in the salad and the music was a little loud. It is cashless!

Good comfort food on a rainy day. I am so glad I work near a location again. I had a standard chicken hummus bowl. If you are new to Little Sesame, the hummus bowls seem very limited in portion but they are filling. The food is fresh and you get it quickly for a midday break.

Heard from several people being the best pitta in Washington, so I decided to make a stop. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in a very nice way and really makes you want to stay there. For the sandwich I must say that it was really of a very good quality and quickly served. The price is a bit high but it is still an experience to have.

Decently priced and tasty Mediterranean lunch. Very simple menu (some may consider too minimal) with ok vegetarian options as well. The pita is very good (earned it a 4th star) and the stuffing is relatively generous. I wasn’t blown away but great for a quick lunch.

We had been wanting to try Little Sesame since we saw it featured in the Washington Post’s “25 best casual restaurants in the D.C. area” this past June. Beautiful, beautiful decor inside. Loved the tile work and the functionality of everything. Seating was a bit difficult as we arrived towards the end of the lunch rush. It’s a fast casual spot that focuses on hummus bowls, pita sandwiches, seasonal salatim, and mezze. Our group of three all opted for bowls over sandwiches and it came in right around the ~$10-11 mark pre-tax. The menu is definitely pretty seasonal so most of what we ordered is no longer included in the winter offerings. One bowl was the chicken shawarma, one featured beets, and the third (I believe) was zucchini. Regardless, all three came served over a bed of outrageously smooth, creamy hummus. Best hummus I’ve had in DC and just might be the best I’ve had outside of Israel. Each main also comes with a delicious, warm pita. We additionally ordered a seasonal fattoush salad and the dairy free, vanilla tahini soft serve for dessert. Unfortunately both were forgettable, fattoush was overly soggy and the ice cream pretty flavorless. Would love to give LS a 4.5 but it’s at a 4 right now with the caveats being that if you love hummus, it’s your spot and if you’re particularly sensitive to veggie, vegan, or dairy free lunch options it seems like a fantastic alternative to other fast casual spots in the city.

Little Sesame has a basic menu of mostly vegetarian pita sandwiches and hummus bowls mixed with grilled vegetables. They have grilled chicken options for both the pita and bowls. Simple menu but good, filling dishes. Worth a stop for lunch if you’re craving hummus.

Excellent service. Delicious hummus. Real pita. The flavors of the hummus can be enhanced a bit (doesn't taste the most fresh) and the pita can be more fluffy, but overall a great start. I came during dinner, so it may be better during lunch. The turmeric pickles were tasty. Interior is clean and modern, adorned with live plants and pastel colors. A good variety of seating is available.

What a great find! This is a casual lunch place. Very clean. Nice outdoors eating and the indoors looks nice too. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is quick.

A hidden gem! Fresh ingredients and loving preparation make this one a winner. The house fermented pickles and sauces are especially delightful treats. Nice mellow ambiance as well. Update: I've now been coming here regularly since they opened, and if anything they've gotten better. The service is fast and friendly and the food has been consistently excellent. Definitely try their sides and 7-minute egg. The menu rotates seasonally, but is a cut above other Middle Eastern style food in the area. Try the lamb when they have it -- not often, but you won't want to miss it!

This is the best hummus and pita I've had, maybe ever. I was skeptical that hummus and bread could be a whole lunch, but the flavors are rich and diverse. I'll be back tomorrow.

Great food and vibe. Hummus is 👌👌👌 I had the Hummus Cauliflower bowl and it was perfect for me. It is very busy around lunch time.
