The Walnut oatmeal raisin cookie was amazing. And I didn't have to add anything to my mocha.

Today I went back to Le Caprice Bakery for lunch – this time I actually sat and stayed. Made up my own vegan concoction – basically added the Portobello to the Almond Salad, and nixed the cheese.

Convenient bakery/cafe in the neighborhood. Their pistachio croissant is definitely their specialty. The croissant itself was more bread-y and less of the tender flakes I've gotten used to in Europe, but tasty in its own way. The neon green pistachio filling is a bit too bright for my taste, but really enjoyed the pistachio crumb topping on top. Also one of the largest coffee syrup selections I have seen. Service was nice and quick, granted, I was here 830 on a Sunday morning lol. The weather was perfect for sitting on their rocking bench outside to enjoy the sunshine with breakfast!

Great place! Easy to order, big selection, and plenty of seating inside and out. Best croissant in DC? I will say it is the only croissant in DC but it was absolutely fantastic and I would be willing to believe it's the best. I would happily go back the next time I am in the area.

Generous breakfast portion, specially the bacon. the bacon was cooked to perfection, it was crispy but not burnt or dry. The eggs could have a little more salt. And the environment was good.

Le Caprice was one of the earliest shops to set off the renaissance of central Columbia heights...I'm not 100% sure, bc it's been so long but this place may have preceded the newer Giant / Tivoli restoration. Good flaky butter croissants and other pastries. They have macaroons, many other pastries, cookies and cakes as well as made-to-order breakfast sammies on a bagel, bread or croissant and pretty good coffee and a good selection of cold beverages. If you have a little one, they also have cheese sticks (regular, plus round red baby bell type) hard boiled eggs, fruit snacks, fruit and box juices and other snacks.

The owner receive me and my friend with a smile and good actitude. The crossiants are DELICIOUS. I ordered the egg, cheese and turkey crossiants and a chocolate one for the end with coffee. Good place to eat anytime with a French taste.

They crafted my son's graduation cake. I couldn't have been happier with the results. It was beautiful and very tasty!!! The macaroons were so divine!!!! My family will be using them often.

This is a super cute and quaint little spot in Columbia Heights! The bakery selection is very nice, and extremely well made. There is also a broad Breakfast and Lunch menu for early morning commutes and mid-day breaks, with indoor and outdoor seating available. They also have ready to-go salads, sandwiches, fruit medleys and yogurt parfaits. I recommend this location for a quick breakfast stop, a quiet lunch, or a nice place to catch up with friends.

5 stars + more during COVID-19. I live in New York City and I wanted to celebrate a great friend in DC. Amazing service, bakery, and delivery.

My breakfast croissant was buttery, flaky, and delicious. This has to be the best place in DC for a croissant, just like the sign says (it's what lured me in....). Iced latte could have used more coffee and a lot less milk, but that's my only issue. I'm already planning my next visit....

Some items, a pie and some cookies, tasted like refrigerator. The croissants and tarts were delicious. The coffees were made well. They have a large assortment of other drinks as well.
