Beautiful place. Food was amazing. I got the French Country and the rosemary fig jam was perfect. It really brought the flavors of the ham and Gruyère together. Definitely bringing my mother-in-law here.
Bread & Chocolate is a caffe restaurant with a variety of desserts, I ordered a vanilla latte, it's delicious, I also liked an almond croissant because it doesn't feel very sweet, the glaze on top with the almonds gives it a special flavor, I also tried the ball Chocolate stuffed with white chocolat
You can always count on B&C to deliver a great breakfast experience. We especially value the service -- a friendly staff that aims to please. It's a neighborhood mainstay that non-locals should be sure to visit!
I havent been here in over 10 years and Im happy that this place looks better than ever! Pepe, Sergio and Sarah are monumental to this place. Pepe has such a wonderful customer service and attention to detail skill.
Love this place! Andreas was great, and really attentive and took excellent care of us. Great ambience, and excellent breakfast options. I particularly recommend the spinach and mushroom quiche.
This place is a whole good vibes with class. I saw that they serve fine wines and beer but chose not to indulge(having brought my kid with me and all Lol). The desserts are unbelievably delicious. Wonderful neighborhood cafe with lovely French pastries. A nice spot for breakfast or lunch. The coffee is fresh & the service is friendly. I had the French omelette with a cup of coffee.

This place has been a staple for me since I moved to DC in 2011. Staff are super great, food is good, and reasonably priced. A must go!
The eclair and the strawberry cheesecak are tasty. It's not too sweet. The dinning area is nice and cozy. The staff is nice.
