Amazing place- I love ordering from here on cold days/when I'm feeling under the weather. I've ordered the vegetarian pho countless times! Always friendly staff, a clean environment, and great food!
Lots of great choices of Pho combinations. Staff always friendly and happy to walk you through their many variations of Pho. Furnishings a bit tattered but clean and comfy
We ordered the spring rolls and bun. The egg rolls were good although the peanut sauce was a bit thick. The bun could have used a little more fish sauce. The cucumber spiral in the dish was pretty but hard to eat. Overall good food, good service, and good value!
Update: Having dined here in person, I have to say the food is still truly excellent. Portions are massive and prices are reasonable for what you're getting. Definitely some of the best Vietnamese food in the area! That pho broth is some of the best soup flavor you can get.
Old review:
Picked up some takeout today and I was impressed by the vermicelli. The beef was tasty and had satisfying, meaty slices. Very clean tasting food. The shrimp vermicelli that my partner got was also very tasty. We later tried the meat garden rolls on a second visit and that is a pretty perfect lunch for someone with a smaller appetite.
Service was friendly and the interior was nice and attractively lit.
I heard that these guys have wine Best Pho every year since 2013, so I thought "They just be doing something right." and I had to try it. I'm so glad I did! The food is awesome, service is great. The staff is very polite. I will definitely be returning.
Fairly consistent and good food. Broth for the pho could be better and many times the noodles are chopped to really random lengths or all stuck together in the vermicelli dishes.
Delicious pho
I ordered the number 1 with 3 meats and it was amazing. Good quality meats with rich smoky flavor. Got it on a rainy day and it just hit the spot, if you are looking for a great pho place. This is it
This place is recommended by my AirBnB host during my visit to DC and the buzz on the street is that it has been listed amongst the Best of DC by the Washington City Paper in 2017 for Best Pho and Best Vietnamese.
Since Pho is my comfort food (especially on a cold day), I pop into one of their three locations. I was hungry and a large Pho was in order. The standard for a "large" has been set pretty high by the Pho restaurant in Oklahoma City (it has one of the largest Vietnamese communities). As such, I was a little disappointed when what I would call a medium bowl of Pho arrived.
I learn not to be too quick to judge and in anticipation, tasted the soup first to wet my appetite. The broth was very favorful and aromatic, which hit a spot for me immediately.
I added fresh jalapeños with a splash of lime juice into the soup for a refreshing kick to the experience. All in all, the serving size was soon out of my mind as the generous portion of meat with a satisfying amount of rice noodles won the day.
I also ordered another one of my favs; Vietnamese Ice Coffee. Besides being disappointed (again) that it was not served as a drip with a side of ice, the sweet and rich glass of iced joe was a good finish to a satisfying late lunch.
The Chicken Pho is delicious, and the service is attentive in-house, and prompt for take-out. Yum!
Visited there in January. Really enjoyed tasty pho noodles with seafood and spices.
Pho was great, broth was delicious and the seafood pho did not disappoint. 😋
Loved their pho! Good price and size. Very flavorful.
Nice, quick lunch spot. The pho is wonderful. Rice dishes are wonderful. Ample portions.
The pho #10 house special was delicious!
I ordered the Vegan Pho which was really and different from traditional vegan Pho as it was made with apple broth. I really liked how it tasted including the vegetables and liked the lemongrass spicy sauce on the side with it. I'd definitely return here again.
Very, very lucky to live near this place. I walk outside and it smells amazing. If I’m particularly hungry at lunch time I’ll usually dash over here. The pho is the best in dc, I think. It’s cheap and delicious, the service is good. Definitely recommend.
Pho was delicious with great taste. Food was warm and didn’t take long to receive. The service was not the best. Food came out and we were never checked on. We never got asked what we wanted to drink besides the water initially provided and we never got a refill. Food was price accurately.
The best Vietnamese restaurant with excellent tasty food in DC. Very good value for money. Kind and attentive service. Definitely recommend.
This is my local Vietnamese restaurant and frequent take out place especially in the winter, the Pho broth is very good, the amount of meat ingredients in the soup decreased over the past year, they are probably trying to keep the price down, other menu items like rolls and dumplings are pretty good, the place can use a little bit more frequent cleaning specially the floor, some areas around the kitchen counter near the bathroom entrance felt a little slippery, the price is reasonable for almost everything in the menu
