Great Wall Szechuan House Restaurant - Washington DC - Photo album

Solid spot for Chinese food takeout! Dining in is closed. FAST service and tasty. The egg rolls, YUM. Crab Rangoon was a bit onion heavy for my taste. Sesame chicken YUM! Shrimp lo mein… oh my gosh, SO good! If you’re in between rice and noodle, do the noodles!!!!!
No dine-in despite the listing, but a lovely lady opened the door and gave me some free rice cakes before I walked off. Please change your listing. Still, 5 stars ❤️
If you're looking for bland, breaded and deep fried American Chinese food, go elsewhere. If you're seeking delicious, spicy Sichuan, then Great Wall is your spot. Mapo tofu, Sichuan green beans, eggplant are all great. I'll miss this place when is closes in December.
Mala menu is legitimately spicy and authentic. Not for people who are seeking regular Chinese. They have a normal Chinese menu but if you are looking for authentic Sichuan food you can get it here. I had the boiled fish and tofu
This place was pretty good if you're looking for a quick bite to eat or a sit-down restaurant with a large party. The food comes out quick (which can either be a good or bad thing) and is pretty tasty. Our party ordered Szechuan tofu, vegetable lo mein, and chicken lo mein with a tofu & corn soup as
Very good traditional Szechuan food. The ma po tofu was amazing and the ma la wontons were the best I've had in a long time. My friend got the General Tso's chicken, which I joked was the least Chinese item on the menu. It was also great with a special Szechuan twist on it. I will have to come back
I’m no connoisseur of authentic Chinese/Sichuan cuisine but I have eaten a lot of American Chinese food over the years, and this place is fantastic. Generous portions, everything is well seasoned and spiced, and the food has always been ready for pickup on time, even with a $200 order. Just feels an
Our favorite Chinese carryout in DC. A cut above the rest, and the Szechuan food is off the map good.
Crab Rangoon was marvelous. A bit over cooked but still delicious. I got the beef and broccoli and fried rice. Really fresh, well made, and the taste was great!
This is a nearly twenty-year institution in DC known for its spicy dishes and hearty portions of Chinese American comfort food. The owners are lovely people! ❤️
