I'm a pupusa fanatic and this place does not disappoint. Small footprint, local patrons, good food, inexpensive. What more could you want?!

Amazing Salvadoran food. They have Pilseners, pupusas and yuca con chicharrón, what else do you need in this world? Best place in the whole Washington DC area.

Had some AMAZING Sopa de res and Frijol de queso pupusa on a cold rainy day for lunch. The soup was heartwarming and filling and the pupusa was one of the best I've ever tried. This is THE place for authentic and delicious Salvadoran food.

Absolutely fantastic food! Sopa De Res made me a believer and the pupusas we're outstanding. Some of the best latin food I've ever had. Very authentic vibes! Must try!

When my friends and I attend the GALA Hispanic Theatre, we usually eat at El Rinconcito either before or after, depending on whether the performance is in the evening or a matinee. I almost always have enchiladas, but the last time I was there, I had shrimp on the grill. I like the food. It's relatively inexpensive

The food was AMAZING full of flavor and well seasoned. There was so much food I couldn't eat it all.

El Rinconcito was a great place to drop in for lunch! I went here with my boyfriend, and we each got a papusa combination platter. The price was great for the amount of food we got, and the papusas were great (and absolutely humongous), although they weren't as crispy on the outside as I would have loved. They also had a large variety of alcoholic drinks (definitely a perk).

Excellent pupusas in an authentic local eatery — the original El Rinconcito on 11th is slightly better, but that's no knock on this delicious Salvadoran outpost.

Food was great, hot, fresh and tasty. I prefer my food spicier so that would be my only criticism. Everyone was lovely and welcoming.

Tastes like home cooking. So so delicious. The tamales were so smooth and yummy. Pupusas on point... Even the rice felt special. Next time I'll try the soup!

Love love love this place. Usually get the pupusa/tamal combo, but everything I’ve had is delicious. One of my favorite places to eat in this neighborhood.
