Dos Gringos A Mount Pleasant Cafe - Washington DC - Photo album

Such a cute cafe and very reasonably priced too! The atmosphere gives a very local and family owned business vibe. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating and everyone was so friendly. You order at the front and your food is brought to your table when it’s ready. I got the breakfast burrito especia
I had one of the best sandwiches of my life here. Do NOT skip out on the bean and avocado sandwich on homemade wheat. It was also only $6 - you can’t find deals like this anymore.!!
Great food at very reasonable prices. The kale, bean and brown rice burrito was superb. Great for those who eat vegan. They also make their own Muffins. Alex, the proprietor, is super.
My go-to spot in the neighborhood. I come here for the yummy sammies but honestly the menu looks delish (kale, beef, beet bowls, smoothies, plantains). Come here. Support neighborhood establishments owned by REAL people who will talk to you and create community. That is rare, and IMO will be a thing
A coffee shop the 21st century needs: an affordable menu, organic and homemade food, and laid back vibes. This place is quickly becoming my favorite place to grab coffee & a bite with a fiend.
A solid local institution! It has some quirks, but that's both a direct adaptation to its clientele and part of the charm. Plus, who can say no to dollar coffee?
I lived in DC for a month. Went here a few times and loved the place. It became my Usual. The food is really affordable and tastes amazing. The people working there are extremely friendly. You cannot miss out on this little shop!
Fantastic food, super cute, very affordable! Will absolutely be back!
I recommend this charming place. I had one of the day's specials when I was there - an avocado wrap that was very good. The inside looked pleased but it was a nice day so we enjoyed the outdoor seating on the second level. It's a cafe but we ordered inside and our order was brought outside where we
I love this place. Lots of interesting and healthy plates with a peaceful patio and very reasonable prices.
Cute and funky neighborhood spot with delicious sandwiches and fresh fruits and veggies. We came here for breakfast and were delighted by the fresh avocado, quality bread, and reasonable prices. We will definitely be back!
What a great place! The 'Primo Avocado' sandwich w/Pastrami is a solid choice. The coffee is good, fresh, and affordable. The 'Veggie chili' is a great dish if you're eating in. And the Vegan chocolate muffins are delicious, even if you aren't vegan! The owner of Dos Gringos can be seen busting out
This is a great neighborhood cafe. You get a really hearty portion at an affordable price. There's a big patio and a few tables inside. Lots of options to choose from on the menu for every way of eating.
Best avocado sandwich in the city!!! (Primo avocado classico) - great atmosphere, a Mount Pleasant staple.
Quiet, and local neighborhood spot recommended to us while visiting town where regulars are known by name to each other and staff working there. The cashier gave us extra eggs and coffee, and she was so sweet. I gobbled down the most delicious plantains. Really appreciated the literature about commu
The food here is amazing! Fresh, homemade, beautifully seasoned, so delicious. The bean mash, wow!! Mostly vegetarian and some vegan options. The staff are very friendly and they are clear about people keeping their distance when ordering, which I appreciated. Prices are affordable. Vibe low key and
Dos Gringos is a neighborhood coffee shop with food. Think hippe shop. This last time Ibwas there it an art making event was going on. You go as much for the atmosphere as the food. The limeade was delish
A wonderful part of the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. The food is simple, fresh, and delicious. The coffee is great, and everything is reasonably priced. The owner and her team are also unfailing, genuinely friendly. Whether stopping in for a quick coffee or an extended lunch, every trip to Dos Gring
